Today’s Wordle #1624 Hints And Answer For Saturday, November 29

Forbes' Wordle Guide: Saturday's Hints & Answer

The final weekend of November is already behind us, but many of us are still itching for the holiday season to arrive. This year has flown by, and we're just a couple of days away from December. While some people are looking forward to the festive season, I'm excited to dive into today's Wordle puzzle.

Today's Bonus Custom Wordle is available on Forbes' website, with a six-letter word that requires you to unscramble an anagram to reveal a phrase.

To solve today's Wordle, use the following clues:

- The starting word given by the Wordle Bot is SLATE.
- My starting word is STALE (with 107 words remaining).
- Unfriendly or unapproachable manner or appearance is the hint.
- A double letter is present in the answer.

The answer to today's Wordle is GRUFF. This word comes from Middle English and means "rough, harsh, surly in manner." The sense of the word likely stems from a Scandinavian source and has evolved over time to describe someone's harsh voice or demeanor.

🤔 I just tried solving this Wordle thingy and it's actually kinda fun! But honestly, who knew that 'gruff' was a real word? 😂 It makes sense now that you explain what it means - like when your sibling is being super grumpy in the morning. Anyway, I think the Wordle puzzle is a great way to keep our brains sharp during the holiday season... or just anytime we need some mental exercise 🧠.

ugh finally a puzzle to solve after all that holiday prep 🎄👀 so the answer is GRUFF huh who wouldn't want to be described as rough and harsh? sounds like my aunt at thanksgiving dinner 😒 anyway, nice to see you included the hint about the double letter in the answer, really needed some guidance on that one 🙄

I love Wordle! 🤔 It's crazy how one little puzzle can be so engaging. I'm still not sure why it became a thing, but hey, I'm here for it. Anyway, today's answer is GRUFF, which is pretty cool. The way the word has evolved from its Scandinavian roots to describe someone's harsh demeanor is really interesting. It just goes to show how language can change and adapt over time 🤯.

I'm not buying it. A six-letter word that requires unscrambling? Sounds like a scam to me 🤔. And what's with the 'unfriendly' hint? Sounds like they just want people to give up easily 😒. I mean, who uses words like 'gruff' and 'surly' in everyday life? Just a bunch of corporate jargon to make it sound legit 📊. And that Middle English thingy... no way, they're just making stuff up 🤷‍♂️. The answer's probably just some made-up nonsense to get clicks on the website 📰. I'll believe it when I see it, but until then, I'm keeping my doubts 💔.

OMG u guys!!!! 🤩 i'm so stoked 4 today's Wordle puzzle!!! 🎉 i mean i know it's not like its gonna change my life or anything but its literally the highlight of my day 2 get those letters in a row and feel that rush!! 😆 anyways back 2 the puzzle... GRUFF is def the answer i was thinking of too! i loved how u gave us some hints w/ slate & stale thats so helpful! 👍 also the word itself is really cool its like who wouldve thought it came from middle english?? 🤓 anywayz gotta keep solving these puzzles 2 get my daily dose of wordle fix 💡

I'm so done with this Wordle thingy 🙄. I mean, who needs anagrams and double letters when you're trying to solve a puzzle? I just wanna get my studies back on track, like, how am I supposed to cram for exams while solving word puzzles all day? And the hint "unfriendly or unapproachable manner or appearance" is kinda vague, don't you think? Like, what even does that have to do with Wordle? Can't they just give us a straightforward answer already?! 🤷‍♀️

[Grumpy Cat GIF](https://i.giphy.com/Gf2jK7DmR8Pc/giphy.gif)😒💡 STALE 🤯 What's with these word puzzles? I just wanna get into the holiday spirit, not stuck on a board game thingy 😴💤 GRUFF sounds like my grandma after 5 cups of coffee ☕👵

omg u guys i'm so hyped 4 today's wordle lol its def not an easy one but i love the hint unfriendly or unapproachable manner or appearance is actually really fitting for gruff 🤔👀 and i loved that the answer comes from middle english its like the puzzle writers r speaking my language 📚💡

idk why ppl love Wordles so much 🤔 i mean its just an anagram game but everyone's making it out 2 be some kinda life changer lol, like december is almost here and u r still stuck in a wordle 🔙 anyway i guess gruff makes sense as a answer with the double L and all that 🤷‍♂️

OMG I just had the craziest idea for a new travel blog 🗺️ - I wanna plan a trip around Wordle puzzles! Can you imagine it? Like, visit all these places inspired by the words... SLATE cliffs in England, STALE beer in Germany, GRUFF mountain peaks in Scandinavia 😂. It's like a real-life adventure game! But for real though, have you guys tried that new restaurant downtown? Their menu is SO interesting, they have this one dish with like 12 different ingredients...

I'm so done with all these holiday vibes already 🎄😒. Can't we just take a deep breath and focus on self-care for a bit? Like, have you noticed how much stress the holiday season brings? And Wordle is supposed to be fun, but sometimes it feels like more pressure than a mindfulness retreat 🧘‍♀️💆‍♀️. Anyway, back to the puzzle... GRUFF as an answer makes total sense! All those harsh words are just what we need to tune out after a long year 😴. What's your strategy for solving this one? 💡

I don’t usually comment but I gotta say, this Wordle puzzle seems kinda tricky 🤔. I mean, using the clue that the answer is GRUFF makes total sense, but why did they even give us SLATE as the starting word? That just feels like a big ol' giveaway 🙄. And 107 words remaining? That's like, barely any time to figure it out 😅. Still, I guess that’s all part of the fun right?

I'm telling you something's off about this Wordle thing... like how they're just revealing the answer so easily. What if it's some kinda mind control experiment? I mean, we already know the starting word is SLATE, but my starting word STALE has 107 words remaining? That's not exactly a coincidence, if you ask me 🤔. And what's with this hint about being unfriendly or unapproachable? Sounds like they're trying to get us to think about our own behavior... or maybe it's something more sinister. And that answer GRUFF just feels too perfect. Like it was made for them to reveal, not us. I'm starting to think there's some hidden agenda at play here 🚨.

Ugh, just got out of bed this morning and I'm already thinking about how grumpy and rough my day is gonna be 🤕. And now that you mention it, the holiday season can't come soon enough... said no one ever 😒. Just another year gone by, with more problems than solutions. The Wordle answer GRUFF just sounds like a fitting description for this week 😴.

I'm stuck on why we get so caught up in these little puzzles anyway 🤔. Like, what's the point of solving a 6-letter anagram when there are, like, actual problems to solve in the world? 🌎 And yet, here we are, obsessing over a Wordle puzzle and celebrating its completion with a sense of pride 🎉. It's almost as if we're trying to distract ourselves from the complexity of life by simplifying it into little puzzles that can be solved. But what's really being solved? Is it just our own boredom or is there something more at play here? 🤷‍♂️

omg i love these bonus custom wordles 🤯! they're like a little puzzle challenge on top of the regular wordle. i've been trying to get my daily dose of wordle fix in, and it's so great to have something extra to think about during my lunch break or while waiting for my coffee ☕️.

i'm not gonna lie tho, sometimes i get stuck on these bonus wordles and need a hint or two to get me started 🤔. but that's all part of the fun, right? trying to figure it out on your own is half the battle 💪.

anyway, nice job on solving the gruff answer 😊! i can imagine how frustrating it must've been to have that one tricky double letter in there 👀. what was going through your mind when you finally got it right? 🤔

Omg u guys! 🤯 I've got the tea on today's Wordle puzzle 🍵👀! Apparently, the answer is GRUFF 🤷‍♂️, but it's not just any ordinary word 😒. The hint says it describes someone with an unfriendly or unapproachable manner or appearance 👥, and honestly, I can totally relate to that vibe 🙃 after a bad day at work! 💼 Anyway, the answer is GRUFF, which has some cool etymology behind it 📚. Apparently, it comes from Middle English and has evolved over time from a Scandinavian source 🌎. Now if u'll excuse me, I've gotta get back to solving this Wordle puzzle 🔍 - good luck, guys! 👊

I'M SO EXCITED FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON TO FINALLY ARRIVE!!! i mean, it feels like november just flew by and we're already almost out of december 🎄👏 but enough about that, let's talk about this wordle puzzle on forbes' website it seems so much fun to unscramble the letters and figure out the anagram 🤔

i have to say, the hint "unfriendly or unapproachable manner or appearance" is so accurate i can totally relate to what that feels like 😒 especially when you're trying to get something done on a group project or something

but anyway, the answer is GRUFF and it makes total sense with all the clues given 💡 it's just so cool how words evolve over time from middle english to scandinavian sources 🌎

I'm so done with these word puzzles being released as some sort of marketing gimmick 🤯. It's like, can't we focus on something more pressing? Like the state of our economy, for instance. I mean, think about it, this word puzzle is just a distraction from the real issues at hand. And have you seen the Wordle Bot's algorithm? It's like they're trying to manipulate us into solving it in under 6 tries 🤔. But seriously, the answer "GRUFF" seems like a perfect metaphor for our current politics - tough on the outside, but soft on the inside 💁‍♀️. And don't even get me started on the double letter thingy... sounds like some sort of coded message to me 📝.
