I'm thinking, have you seen how this whole thing plays out? So basically, because a prosecutor made some questionable decisions, now Trump's lawyers are trying to get Georgia taxpayers to foot the bill for his defense team's costs... it's like, if I were a taxpayer in Georgia, I'd be pretty annoyed too! I mean, what's up with Section 17-11-6? It's supposed to prevent prosecutors from messing up cases due to personal issues, but apparently, that doesn't always happen.
And let me get this straight, Trump's lawyers are saying that the state will just absorb these costs without any extra burden on taxpayers... I don't buy it. If anything, this whole thing should be a wake-up call for Georgia's politicians to review their ethics and make sure something like this never happens again!
