and dude the food was insane especially that beignet place in the french quarter we had this giant powdered sugar covered thing that looked like a cloud 
and the views of the mississippi were breathtaking 
but you know what's even crazier than that? i just saw a documentary on mynetflix about these guys who spent 5 years traveling the world with nothing but their bikes 
and it was so inspiring to see them visit all those random places like mongolia and namibia 
... but can't help feeling like it's all just a bit... tame 
. I mean, paddleboarding with a tabby named Bongo and trying to pick up Larry the Downing Street cat? Sounds like a sitcom in the making 
. And then there's Jane McDonald going on an epic cruise through South America... now that sounds like some real adventure travel stuff
