🤔 The documentary Girlbands Forever is like a microcosm of the 90s music industry - all about the highs and lows of fame, fortune, and the corporate machine 📈. I mean, who can forget the struggles of Eternal and All Saints, refusing to compromise their artistic vision just to fit into the mainstream mold? It's like they're saying, 'We value our integrity over commercial success' 💯.

But let's not forget about the darker side of the industry, where women are pitted against each other, and their bodies are controlled by their management teams 🤷‍♀️. I'm reminded of the current debate around artists' rights in the music streaming era - do we value artistry or do we value clicks and plays? 🎵

And what about the pressure to conform to societal norms? Kéllé Bryan's story about her diet being tightly controlled by her management team is like a precursor to our current conversations around body positivity and feminism 🤝.

The documentary Girlbands Forever is like a mirror held up to society, reflecting our values and priorities. It's not just about the Spice Girls or Eternal; it's about us - how we treat each other, especially women in positions of power 💪.

Ugh, are you kidding me? Girlbands Forever is going to air tonight and people are gonna fawn all over it like they're still in the 90s or something 🙄. I mean, sure, it's gonna be a must-watch for anyone into that era of pop music, but let's be real, most of these girlbands were more about the drama than the actual music.

And don't even get me started on Kéllé Bryan and Melanie Blatt's stories... managing to turn their personal struggles into "inspirational" doco fodder? Please. It's not like they're exactly role models for young people coming up in the industry.

But hey, if you wanna watch a bunch of old ladies reminisce about the good ol' days, be my guest 🤪. Just don't say I didn't warn you when you're stuck watching 90s reruns all day long.

I gotta say, girlbands in the 90s were total pioneers for female empowerment 💁‍♀️🔥 they were like the original squad goals! It's wild to think about how much pressure they faced from their management teams to conform to certain standards of beauty and behavior 🤯. I mean, can you imagine being told to "abort your babies" on live camera? That's some dark stuff 😱. But at the same time, it's great that we're finally getting to see their stories told in a documentary. It's gonna be so interesting to see how they all vibe out about their experiences 🤔. And hey, who doesn't love a good 90s girlband throwback? 🎉

omg i'm literally freaking out right now!! Girlbands Forever is finally coming to BBC tonight 🤩💖 I've been waiting for ages to see what Kéllé Bryan & Melanie Blatt have to say about their time in the industry, esp that disturbing incident with Nicole Appleton 😲 and Sara Cox's struggles with fame are literally so relatable to me too 💔. I'm planning on recording it and re-watching it like 5 times over 📺💖 This documentary is gonna be EVERYTHING for all Spice Girls/Eternal fans! 🎉

omg i'm so excited for Girlbands Forever tonight 🤩 it's been ages since we had a documentary about 90s girlbands and I'm curious to know more about what went on behind the scenes - was it all glamour and fun or were there some dark secrets? 😂 i've always wondered about the Spice Girls' dynamics, so hopefully this doc will give us some juicy insights 🍯. also can we talk about how much i love Bonnie Tyler's music for Strictly Come Dancing? totally eclipse of the heart is my jam 💃🏻

You know what's wild? I was at the park with my dog yesterday and we saw this squirrel trying to climb a tree that was way too tall for him 🐿️. Like, he just kept going and going until he got to this one branch that looked super shaky... I swear, it was like he was saying "I'm gonna make it!" And then, his paw slipped and he fell off 😂. My dog was laughing at me (well, barking at the squirrel, but same difference). Reminded me of all those girlbands in the 90s trying to reach new heights... literally 🎤
