Detroit hip-hop duo Twiztid is gearing up to celebrate a quarter century of sonic terror with its Freek Show tour, which kicked off on Saint Andrew's Hall's Devil's Night with the special annual show, Fright Fest. The two-year trek across the eastern seaboard takes the horrorcore pair through mid-November in honor of their 1998 sophomore album, "Freek Show."
The tour marks a significant milestone for Twiztid, as they look to revisit some of the most iconic moments from their career, including Fright Fest and its associated festivities. Fans can expect an immersive experience that blends horrorcore with pop culture, showcasing the duo's signature style.
Following the completion of the Freek Show tour, Twiztid will be hosting Astronomicon 9, a family-friendly convention celebrating all things pop culture. The event will take place on April 10-12 at the Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest. With tickets available online, fans can expect an out-of-this-world experience that combines music, art, and pop culture.
This year's Astronomicon promises to be one for the books, with Twiztid leading the charge alongside other guest performers and exhibitors. The event will feature panels, workshops, and exhibitions showcasing a wide range of genres, from science fiction to fantasy, ensuring something for every kind of fan. With its unique blend of music and pop culture, Astronomicon 9 is sure to be an unforgettable experience for all involved.

I mean, a quarter century of sonic terror sounds like just that - old news. Their live shows are gonna be super corny and over-the-top, with too much emphasis on special effects and not enough substance. And don't even get me started on Astronomicon 9... it's just a bunch of nerds running around in cosplay, paying to attend panels about science fiction and fantasy
