I'm literally talking 61k+ landfills in Europe just chillin' in floodplains, waiting for toxic waste to leak into our water supplies 
... meanwhile, scientists are like "um, yeah, this is gonna be bad for ppl's health" 
. It's crazy how some of these landfills predate pollution control regulations - that's just basic common sense 
. And those "forever chemicals"? Forget about it, Pfas in a river near a protected conservation area? That's straight-up toxic 
. The EU needs to step up its game and provide funding for remedial actions ASAP
