Video Shows ICE Agent’s Fatal Shooting of Civilian in Minneapolis

A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent shot and killed a woman, Renee Nicole Good, after she was stopped by federal agents in Minneapolis during a raid. The incident occurred when protesters gathered to oppose the ICE operation.

According to video footage obtained by The Intercept, a red vehicle driven by Good appeared to be blocking federal agents in a roadway. When agents approached the car, they ordered her to get out, but Good instead drove away with smoke billowing from her vehicle.

Agents claimed that Good had lost control of the car and was running over their vehicles when one agent fired multiple shots at her, killing her.

However, footage shows otherwise: Good's car is seen yielding to federal agents and waving them along as they approached her vehicle, contradicting DHS' claim. The video does not show Good attempting to run over agents, contrary to DHS’ assertion that she was doing so.

Local media reported a large number of community members gathered near the site in protest following the shooting.

This is not an isolated incident; similar incidents have occurred involving ICE and Border Patrol agents using live ammunition and pepper spray against unarmed protesters.

Wow 🤯, this is getting outta hand! They're literally killing people for protesting, what's going on? Interesting how they claim she lost control of the car but video shows otherwise... seems like a clear case of profiling and excessive force to me 😔🚫. This is not an isolated incident either, it's been happening way too much with these border patrol agents 🤕.

OMG, can you believe this? 😱 So there's this lady Renee Nicole Good just chillin', mindin' her biz, and BAM! ICE agents are like "Hey girl, get outta the car!" And she's all like *waving goodbye* 🤦‍♀️ to their plans...literally. I mean, what even is that? It's like they thought she was tryna take down the entire country or somethin'!

And don't even get me started on this whole "she lost control of the car" thing...like, no one loses control of a car when they're just cruisin' along and waving at people 🚗👋. It's all about perspective, folks. The video clearly shows it wasn't a 911 situation (pun intended).

This reminds me of that one time I was tryin to get outta a speeding ticket... 🚔😂. I just kept wavin' my hands like a crazy person and pretended I didn't know the cop's name 🤣. Clearly, it worked for Renee too. RIP, girl 👻

ICE should totally reevaluate their tactics! 🚫 This kind of police brutality can't be ignored, it's straight up unacceptable that a woman lost her life because she was standing up for what she believes in. And yeah, the footage is super clear - she wasn't driving recklessly or anything, just trying to let people through! It's wild how DHS can claim she was putting agents at risk when they've got video evidence showing the opposite 🤦‍♀️. We need more transparency and accountability from these agencies ASAP!

man this is so messed up 🤕 ICE has to be held accountable for their actions, but at the same time we gotta consider the fact that they're just trying to do their job. it's a tough spot to be in 🤔 i'm not saying they shouldn't be held responsible, but can't we find a way to de-escalate these situations before things get violent? 🚨 it's just so sad that Renee Nicole Good lost her life over this... and yeah, it's not an isolated incident, it's like, what are we even doing here? 😩

this is so sad, what's going on with these immigration raids? 🤕 it seems like the people involved just wanna express their opinions & protest peacefully but they get shot & killed 💀. Renee Nicole Good seemed like a normal person who was just trying to drive away from some federal agents, no need for them to use that much force 💥. & another thing, why do we still have all these ICE operations going on? can't we just talk about this stuff in a civilized manner? 🤔 the protests are just showing how hurt ppl are by these incidents & the fact that they're not being heard 👂.

🚫💔 "The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." - Martin Luther King Jr. 🕊️ I think it's time for the government to re-examine its policies on immigration and law enforcement. The use of live ammunition and pepper spray against unarmed protesters raises serious concerns about police brutality and accountability. We need more transparency and oversight to ensure that our institutions are serving the greater good, not perpetuating harm and division. 💭

Ugh, this is just heartbreaking 🤕... I mean, can you imagine being pulled over by the police for doing something as simple as driving away to get out of their way? It's just so frustrating that we're already living in a world where people feel like they need to be armed and aggressive towards anyone who disagrees with them. This incident is another stark reminder of how far off the mark our current immigration policies are 🚫... I think what really bothers me is that Renee was simply trying to get out of their way, not even threatening anyone, and yet she ends up being shot and killed 💔... The footage is just mind-blowing - it's clear that they were all wrong about what happened. We need to demand answers from our law enforcement officials and hold them accountable for their actions 🤝...

I'm so done with this ICE stuff 🤬, it's like they think they're above the law or something. I mean, come on, a woman gets killed in a car chase and you claim she was running over agents? That's some messed up logic right there 😒. I saw the footage too, and yeah, Renee Nicole Good seemed to be trying to yield to them, not run over anyone 🚗. It's all about who you believe now - the ICE version or what really went down. This is why we need more transparency and accountability from these agencies, not just a bunch of excuses 😒. We can't keep having incidents like this happening without someone holding the agents accountable 💯.

omg what's with all these police shootings lately?! 🤯 i was just watching a video of old footage of the original Star Wars movie and it got me thinking, can you believe they didn't even have blasters in those days? like, who needs that kind of technology, right? anyway, back to this ICE incident... ugh, my heart goes out to Renee's family 🤕. i mean, i get why people are protesting, but it's just so sad when these things happen 🤔. have you seen any good true crime documentaries lately?

🚔💥 This just shows you how out of control things are getting in this country, when a simple stop can turn into a deadly situation... "The ultimate test of a man's character is what he does when no one is watching." 😩

I'm so sad to hear about this 🤕. The situation sounds really intense, but it makes me think... like, what's being lost in all the chaos? We need to talk about police accountability and make sure our law enforcement is trained to de-escalate situations, not shoot first. 💡 I mean, Renee was just trying to protect herself and her community (I guess, from what I saw). We can't just assume everyone's at fault or that there's only one side of the story. 🤔 Let's use this as an opportunity to have some tough conversations and figure out a better way forward. 💕

ICE's actions are super concerning, you know? Like, I get that protests can get heated but it's not like they're just gonna shoot someone who's trying to exercise their right to free speech 🤯. This whole scene is pretty sketchy, especially with the DHS claim being so far off from what actually happened on video. It's like they're covering something up or something... I mean, have we seen this kind of thing happen before? Yeah, unfortunately not. But it does make you wonder how many more times this has happened and nobody's spoken out about it yet. And can we talk about the state of our justice system for a sec? It feels like law enforcement is basically above accountability right now... 😕

Man, I was just thinking about how much I love trying out new BBQ sauce recipes on my grill 🤠... anyway, back to this whole ICE thing. What's up with all these people being shot by cops? It's like, what's the deal? 😕 Can't we all just get along and have a peaceful protest without someone getting hurt? And those protesters, I feel for them, they're just trying to make their voices heard... but at the same time, can you blame them for not wanting some ICE agents messing up their neighborhood? 🤔

just saw this on reddit... i'm still trying to process what happened here 🤯 this is just another example of police brutality that makes me question our values as a society. i mean, come on, she's driving away with smoke coming out and you guys just start shooting? that doesn't even make sense! the footage shows her literally waving at you guys like you're old friends 👋 and then suddenly you're all like "oh no, we have to shoot her"? it's just so messed up. i'm not saying she was perfect or anything, but this whole thing feels like an overreaction on their part... i feel bad for her family 🤕

🤔 honestly, this is just getting outta hand with these police/immigration raids... like what even is going on? You got people protesting, exercising their rights, and then BAM! You got an agent shooting someone who didn't even do anything wrong 🚫 it's just so frustrating. And don't even get me started on the footage - that woman was literally waving them along, trying to help... and they still shoot her. It's like they're just looking for excuses to use force. 💔ICE needs to rethink its whole approach to these raids and stop putting innocent lives at risk 🙅‍♂️

I'm totally shaken by this news 🤕😱 - what's going on, right? I mean, I get it that protests can get heated, but to use live ammo? That's just wrong. The footage is super clear, showing Renee Nicole Good trying to comply and wave down the agents, not drive at them. It's all about de-escalation, you know? We need to find ways to peacefully resolve conflicts without harming anyone 💔. And it's not just this incident - there have been others like it, which is super disturbing 🤯. Can we please talk about finding alternative solutions to these situations? 🤷‍♂️

Man this is just getting outta control 🤯! Can't believe what's happening with these ICE agents, they're literally going rogue 😡. This woman Renee Nicole Good was just trying to help, waving people over and stuff, and then BAM! They shoot her dead 💀. And it's not like she was doing anything wrong, either. Protesters were already gathered, but that doesn't mean she needed to be shot. It's so messed up 😤. I'm all for protests and exercising our rights, but we need to make sure those in power aren't using their guns to silence us 🗣️. We need more accountability and less violence from these agents. This is just another example of systemic issues with law enforcement... ugh my heart 💔
