Warriors' next move predicted amid Al Horford concerns

Golden State Warriors' Frontcourt Depth on the Line as Al Horford Struggles

The Golden State Warriors are once again a force to be reckoned with in the NBA, but their frontcourt depth is starting to raise some concerns. The team's latest signing, 39-year-old big man Al Horford, has gotten off to a slow start this season, averaging just 5.8 points and 3.5 rebounds over 22.5 minutes per game.

While it's still early in the season, the Warriors' decision to pursue frontcourt depth is not unexpected. The team has made several major additions in recent years, including Jimmy Butler at the trade deadline last season and Horford on a summer deal. However, if Horford continues to struggle, Golden State will likely need to make some moves.

Nick Friedell of The Athletic NBA Daily recently projected that the Warriors could be looking to add another big man to their rotation. "I would just say another big man, because you know what youโ€™re going to get from Draymond," Friedell said. This sentiment is supported by the team's need for depth in the frontcourt, particularly given Horford's age and recent performance.

Horford, who played 60 games for the Boston Celtics last season, has seen a dip in his percentages this year, which could be a cause for concern. If he continues to struggle, it won't be long before Golden State starts looking elsewhere for answers at center.

The Warriors will face the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night, and if Horford's performance doesn't improve soon, fans can expect the team to start shopping around for additional big men. With Draymond Green already established as a cornerstone in the frontcourt, another solid addition could make all the difference in helping Golden State navigate the challenging NBA landscape.

While it's still early days in the season, one thing is certain: Golden State needs to find a way to get Horford back on track if they want to stay ahead of the competition. The question remains: what will be their next move?

I'm kinda worried about Al Horford right now ๐Ÿค”... 39 and still trying to prove himself, but it's hard when you're not getting the production you need ๐Ÿ“Š. I feel like Draymond is carrying the load way too much and they really need another big man in the rotation ๐Ÿ’ช. They gotta do something about Horford's struggles or else he'll be the scapegoat ๐Ÿ”ฅ. The Pacers are gonna give them a run for their money on Sat night, and if Horford can't step up, it's gonna be tough to take care of business ๐Ÿ€. Maybe they should think outside the box and look for someone who can complement Draymond and Stephen Curry better?

I'm getting vibes that the Warriors are going to have to make some big moves soon... like, we're talking mid-season trade or something ๐Ÿค” If Horford's struggles don't improve, it'll be super tough for them to compete with other teams who have more depth in the frontcourt. I mean, Draymond's a beast, but he can only do so much on his own ๐Ÿ˜… Plus, they've already got some decent young bigs like Wiggins and Thompson, so it's not like they're completely starting from scratch. Still, if Horford's not getting it done, they'll have to look elsewhere for help... maybe someone like Andre Drummond or something? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ The thing is, the NBA is so competitive right now, one little snag can derail a whole team's season...

ugh, i dont think its that bad for horford he's been playing less mins than usual and still averaging 5.8 points ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ€ maybe the team should work on a different strategy with him instead of just blaming him for struggles? draymond is doing his thing ๐Ÿ’ช meanwhile golden state needs to develop some young bigs to help horford out ๐Ÿ˜Š

๐Ÿค” you gotta wonder what's going on with Al Horford man... 39 and still trying to prove himself in the league ๐Ÿ™ƒ he's not getting any younger, and the Warriors are counting on him big time ๐Ÿ˜ฌ they need a solid big man to back up Draymond, but if Horford can't get it together, that's gonna be tough to come by ๐Ÿ’” might have to make some moves soon, maybe even add another big to the mix ๐Ÿค would love to see them go out and grab someone like Nikola Vucevic or something... ๐Ÿ”

man this is weird I know Al Horford is supposed to be a solid big man but he's averaging like 5 points per game lol not even half that from his career average ๐Ÿ˜‚ and the Warriors are already looking to add another big dude maybe they should just stick with what they got you feel?

I donโ€™t usually comment but I think the Warriors need to rethink their strategy with Al Horford... ๐Ÿค” His age is definitely showing, and while Draymond Green is a beast on the court, they can't rely solely on him. I mean, what if he gets injured? They need someone who can bring some consistency and production to the table. Maybe it's time for them to explore other options, like the ones Nick Friedell mentioned... adding another big man could be the key to their success this season ๐Ÿคž

๐Ÿค” I mean can you blame them tho? Al Horford's numbers just aren't where it's at rn ๐Ÿ“‰ 5.8 points and 3.5 rebounds ain't gonna cut it for a team with a guy like Draymond Green patrolling the paint ๐Ÿšซ And yeah, 39 is old in NBA years ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ might be time to start shopping around for some younger, hungrier big men ๐Ÿ’ช

omg i feel like i know exactly how they're gonna do it ๐Ÿคฏ they need someone who's actually reliable and can take some heat off draymond green, you know they cant rely on horford right now ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ theyre already so deep at point guard with steves addazio and jones and its getting to be like "okay where is our big man?!" ๐Ÿ˜… anyway i think golden state needs to make a move and fast before it affects their season

I think the Warriors are playing with fire here ๐Ÿš’. They're trying to win it all again, but they can't afford to have any weak links in their frontcourt. Al Horford is a great player, don't get me wrong, but 39 and struggling is not what you want at this stage of his career. They need someone who can come in and give them a boost, maybe another big man like the one Nick Friedell is talking about ๐Ÿค”. Draymond Green is doing his thing, but he can only do so much on his own. Golden State needs depth, and they need it now ๐Ÿ’ช. If Horford keeps struggling, I'm sure they'll start making some calls ๐Ÿ”Š.
