I'm actually kinda surprised that Trump is still pushing for this - I mean, doesn't he know how much the UN Charter is worth? Like, isn't sovereignty and territorial integrity a big deal or something? 
And it's not like Denmark would just hand over Greenland to him willy-nilly... I get that national security is important, but can't we find other ways to address those concerns without threatening someone else's rights? 
Anyway, it'll be interesting to see how this all plays out - I hope France and their European allies can keep the pressure on Trump to back down.

this is getting out of hand, like trump has no idea how geopolitics works. he's gonna get us all into a war over some island in the arctic? 
and what's with the US being all aggressive about it? shouldn't they be working with france and other nations to figure this stuff out instead of trying to muscle in on danish territory?
