Who benefits from India’s sweeping new labour reforms?

I'm low-key worried about this new labour reform . I mean, on one hand, increased investment and economic growth can be a good thing , but what about the workers? Will they really get to enjoy those benefits or will it just be a fancy way for companies to cut corners ? And what's up with the simplified codes not having enough transparency? That doesn't sound like fair . I hope the gov's doing more research on this before pushing these changes through .

Umm i was just thinking about trying out that new coffee shop downtown , have you been there? I mean idk if its any good but the line is always long so that must be a good sign, right? Anyway, what's with all these changes in labor laws tho? Its like they're trying to attract more investors or something...i dont get why we need four simplified codes tho, cant just leave it as is?

I mean, can't wait for the floodgates of corporate greed to open and sweep all those pesky worker protections under the rug ... er, I mean, who needs fair wages and safe working conditions when you can have economic growth, right? The government's got it all figured out, and if those labour unions don't like it, they're just being a bit too... reactive ... not that there's anything wrong with advocating for workers' rights or anything . It'll be interesting to see how this plays out in practice... fingers crossed!

I don’t usually comment but I think this is a really tricky situation for India’s economy and labour market . On one hand, simplifying the laws could definitely attract more investment and help the country grow, especially after those tariffs from the US. But on the other hand, if it means workers are gonna lose their job security and bargaining power, that's not good at all . I don’t know how the government can balance these two things but they gotta try, right? It’s like, what’s more important – economic growth or protecting people’s rights?

omg u guys i just can't even think straight about this indian labour reforms lol so like the gov is trying to modernize the laws and attract more investment but labor unions are all salty about it they're saying it'll only make it harder for workers to get what's owed to them which idk if thats true or not tbh i got a friend who works in india and she said its gonna be a big deal for her company cuz they can finally cut costs and boost productivity but at the same time i know like a million other ppl who are already struggling to make ends meet and dont need more stress so idk man what's gonna happen here? will it help india or just screw over the workers?
