A devastating shooting occurred on a METRO bus in west Houston, leaving one woman dead and another person injured after being shot by an assailant who boarded the vehicle at around 2:32 p.m. near Walnut Bend at Richmond Avenue.
According to authorities, a young woman in her 20s was an innocent bystander who suffered fatal head injuries from a bullet fired by the suspect, described as a male between 17 and 20 years old wearing a black hoodie, light gray shorts, and sandals. Just heard about that bus shooting in West Houston... so sad. One life lost, another person lucky to be alive. It's just not right when something like this happens on our daily commute. I mean, who expects to get caught up in a shooting at the metro? 
I feel so bad for the victim's family, it's just not fair that she had to go through such a traumatic experience. The fact that this happened on a bus with innocent people who were just trying to get to their destination is just heartbreaking. 
. And poor girl who got hurt, I hope her family is okay. Those cops gotta catch that guy ASAP so others don't get hurt too.

This is just so senseless. A young woman gets on the bus to get home from work or whatever and then someone just shoots her? That's not right at all. The fact that she was wearing casual clothes and people didn't even recognize her until later because of the hoodie is pretty wild too. I don't know what else to say, it just feels really unfair.

No joke though, this is so scary for the community. The fact that it happened on a METRO bus, of all places, just makes you wanna feel like you're trapped anywhere 
I know they're probably scared or whatever, but that's no excuse. They need to be held accountable for their actions.
