OMG I'm so down for more podcast episodes like this one ! Major Garrett's insights on globalization are super relevant right now . I mean, who doesn't want better regulations ? It's time for policymakers to get real and be more transparent . The 31st day of shutdown is crazy . We need more info on what's happening behind the scenes . I'd love to see more episodes like this one !
Just listened to this podcast episode and I gotta say, it's like, really interesting how the author of that book on globalization points out how unregulated markets can lead to huge financial crises . It makes total sense, but what's kinda crazy is how often we see governments just ignoring these warnings and hoping for the best... or worse, trying to paper over the problems with more debt . As a regular person, it's hard to know where to start when it comes to making sense of all this stuff. Does anyone think there are simple solutions that could be implemented now?
