I'm really sorry to hear about the Brown University shooting


, but I gotta say, I think we're getting a bit too carried away with gun control laws here in the States. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's super tragic and all that, but have we considered the possibility that these shootings are just random acts of violence? Like, maybe our society is more messed up than we thought, you know?
And can we talk about Ben Cohen for a second? He's totally on point with his thoughts on school safety and mental health

. We need to have a bigger conversation about why these things happen and how we can prevent them in the future.
It feels like every time something like this happens, we're back to square one when it comes to talking about gun control... or lack thereof. I mean, what's next? Are we gonna start banning ice cream cones because they're just too tempting for some people to go off the deep end?
