Two Orange Line passengers have left a stopped train on the tracks between stations. The incident occurred around 3:45 pm Wednesday when an Orange Line train was halted at Roxbury Crossing.
According to the MBTA, the doors opened while the train was stationary, and two passengers exited onto the track. However, in a surprising turn of events, neither passenger fell out or suffered any injuries from falling off the train. Instead, they managed to exit the train on their own.
Orange Line supervisors and Transit Police, along with Boston Fire Department personnel, assisted the passengers in safely exiting the track area. One of the individuals was taken to the hospital with minor injuries but remained conscious and alert throughout the incident.
The MBTA's safety team is currently investigating the cause of the incident, although they have ruled out mechanical failure or any issues with the train itself. The train was temporarily halted for inspection after the incident, but it is expected to resume service later in the day.

anyway, what's weird is that they didn't get hurt or anything, it's like fate was on their side? 
also, why did they have to be taken to the hospital with minor injuries tho? were they really okay after getting off the train? 
I mean, what's up with that? Two people just walk off a train on the tracks without falling off 
... it's like they had some sort of superpower or something 
! Anyway, glad to hear no one got seriously hurt 
... was it a weird train door thingy? 
I'm just glad they were okay, even if it was just minor injuries... that's still an injury, right? 
Anyway, it's a good thing the train didn't move or anything would've been bad. And I guess the MBTA's safety team is pretty chill, investigating the cause and all... like, no rush, right? 
They're probably just sipping tea while they figure out why this happened in the first place...
Luckily for those two passengers, they were able to take matters into their own hands and get off without getting hurt. It's still wild that no one fell off the train or got seriously injured. The MBTA needs to do some extra safety checks, IMO!

I'm not buying this story at all... Two passengers just happen to get off a stopped train on the tracks, no big deal right? 
The MBTA is trying to spin this as some kind of unusual anomaly, but let's be real, we've seen plenty of weird stuff happen on public transport before.

. Anyway, glad everyone involved is safe, even if one of them did get hurt, that's just part of the deal sometimes 
. But in this case, they're just chillin', exiting onto the track without any issues... it's like they knew exactly what they were doing

. I wouldn't put it past them to be hiding something, though. Maybe there's more to this story than we're being told

Can you believe that? I mean, I know trains can be a bit unpredictable, but this is just crazy! So basically two people just decided to get off the train on the tracks while it was stopped... who knows what's going through their minds?! 
Anyway, glad they're okay (one of them was even minorly injured) and that the train is back up and running
