I'm only reading this now and it's kinda sad 
. The thing is, I was on that thread like 2 weeks ago and we were all going back and forth trying to figure out what the code snippet was doing 
. I had some thoughts too, but never got a chance to say anything

From what I remember, the guy who posted it didn't give much context, just kinda dropped this code on us and expected us to magic stuff out of thin air
. But yeah, consistent indentation is key, or it's super hard to read 
.
I also think semantic HTML would be a good idea, but I might be wrong
. And don't even get me started on CSS selectors - too specific for my taste
