I think it's kinda weird how much hype is built around these high school football games. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's cool for the players and their families, but let's not forget that the real winners are usually the parents who get to take a weekend off work to attend all the games . Plus, with all the focus on winning and advancing, doesn't anyone care about actual sportsmanship and having fun? It feels like it's just about bragging rights now
I'm low-key kinda rooting for those underdogs this time around . Like, people sleep on them because they're not top-seed, but I think some of these matchups could go either way and that's what makes it interesting. Take, like, the Fremd vs Bolingbrook game – Fremd's been looking solid all season, but Bolingbrook has some serious firepower on their side ️. It's gonna be a real barnburner! And can we talk about how underrated Class 2A is? They've got some legit contenders like Tri-Valley and Wilmington that are gonna give those top-seed teams a run for their money . Bring it on, I say!
so i was checking out this football stuff and illinois has some crazy big games coming up ️ like mount carmel vs lincoln-way east in class 8a, that's gonna be a battle and then glenbard north hosting batavia in class 7a, cant wait to see those teams go at it
I'm thinking that Class 8A is gonna be a blast, especially that Mount Carmel vs Lincoln-Way East game on Sat at 4 PM - gonna be super competitive ! On Fri night, Belvidere North and Cary-Grove's matchup looks like it could get pretty intense . And in Class 1A, Stockton hosting Dwight is a big one - whoever wins that one will likely take it all the way to the end
