Thirty-three years after their iconic debut album Bigger, Better, Faster, More! in 1992, 4 Non Blondes are set to release a follow-up, with Linda Perry's solo album Let It Die Here sharing the same name as her forthcoming documentary. The news comes after Perry reuniting the band for a series of concerts earlier this year, marking their first live shows in over a decade. Speaking on the reunion and its aftermath, Perry revealed that rehearsing with her former bandmates ultimately led to plans for a new album, as she described it as "a bunch of new songs, revisit[ed] some old ones, and bam, we have an album." The band's chemistry, according to Perry, is undeniable, saying "They're all phenomenal players and now they get a chance to show that. I couldn’t ask for a better band to play these songs."
Kill Rock Stars has partnered with Perry's 670 Records imprint to release both Let It Die Here and the 4 Non Blondes album next year. This collaboration is not a surprise, given the label's previous teaming up with Perry on a recent reissue of her solo album In Flight, with Kill Rock Stars' statement highlighting their alignment with Perry's artistic values.
