5 events happening in Philly this weekend

Philly's Winter Wonderland Brings Ice Sculptures, Culture and Cars to the City this Weekend.

Bundled up Philadelphians are in for a treat as several events take over the city this weekend. The Mummers string band competition is back on, with 14 bands performing their unique "mini musicals" at Lincoln Financial Field. The event kicks off at 2 pm on January 31st and tickets range from $12.15 to $24.30.

But that's not all - Main Street in Manayunk will be transformed into a winter wonderland during the Founders Philly Freeze-Out, with over 20 ice sculptures, live carving demonstrations, and a neighborhood-wide chowder crawl. The event runs from 11 am to 4 pm on January 31st and advance chowder crawl tickets start at $18.

Car enthusiasts will love the Philadelphia Auto Show, which takes place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center this weekend. With test drives of electric vehicles, a Camp Jeep obstacle course, and custom build displays, it's an event not to be missed. Tickets start at $20 for adults.

Culture fans will celebrate the Lunar New Year at the Penn Museum with CultureFest! on January 31st. The event features dance performances, storytelling, Tai Chi demonstrations, art activities, and a Lion Dance finale. Admission to all activities is included with museum admission.

Finally, those looking for an alternative to bars can enjoy Dry Vibes at Billy Penn Studios. The zero-proof drink-filled event runs from noon to 5 pm on January 31st and features speakers, a wellness marketplace, and live entertainment. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.

Just what Philly needs, another excuse to freeze their butts off in January πŸ˜‚... Ice sculptures, Mummers string band competition, car shows, Lunar New Year celebrations, and zero-proof drinks... I mean, who doesn't love a good excuse to break the bank πŸ€‘? On the bright side, it's gonna be lit (literally) with those ice sculptures πŸ’‘. Main Street in Manayunk is gonna look straight out of a Winter Wonderland movie πŸŽ₯. Just hope nobody slips on all that ice and breaks their neck 😬... or worse, has to navigate the parking nightmare πŸš—πŸ’”.

I'm not really sure why I love Philly's Winter Wonderland so much πŸ€”... but it just feels like the city is coming alive with all these cool events! Like, who doesn't love ice sculptures on Main Street? ❄️ It's gonna be so lit (get it?) when they have live carving demos and a neighborhood-wide chowder crawl... my taste buds are already doing the happy dance πŸ²πŸ‘. And for car enthusiasts, I feel me too - the Auto Show sounds like an absolute blast with test drives of electric vehicles and a Camp Jeep obstacle course... it's like a dream come true (or should I say, wheel-to-wheel?) 😎. Plus, the CultureFest at the Penn Museum sounds like so much fun - my cousin got into that whole Lunar New Year vibe last year and it was amazing πŸŽ‰. And if you're looking for something low-key, Dry Vibes with zero-proof drinks and live entertainment is just what I need to unwind after a long week 😌... Can't wait to see which event gets the most buzz! πŸ€—

OMG, I'm so down for the Winter Wonderland in Philly this weekend πŸŽ„πŸ•Ί! I've heard great things about Main Street in Manayunk being transformed into a winter wonderland with all that ice sculpture action 😲... 20 of them?! That's like, wow! And can we talk about the chowder crawl? 🀀 I love trying new foods and this sounds like so much fun! πŸ‘…πŸ‘Œ

But, you know what's also on my radar? The Philadelphia Auto Show πŸš—πŸ’¨... I'm super curious to see those electric vehicles up close and personal. And a Camp Jeep obstacle course? Yes, please! πŸŽ―πŸ˜„ How hard can it be, right? πŸ˜‚

And, of course, the Lunar New Year celebration at the Penn Museum πŸ•‰οΈπŸŽ sounds like an amazing way to spend the day... I love cultural events and this one looks like so much fun. Can't wait to see all the performances and activities! πŸŽ¨πŸ‘

πŸŽ‰ I'm so stoked that Philly is getting this awesome winter wonderland vibe going on! It's like the whole city is one big party 🎊. The Mummers string band competition, ice sculptures in Manayunk, and the auto show are all gonna be hella lit πŸ”₯. But you know what's just as cool? The fact that there are tons of free or low-key events for everyone to enjoy. Like, who doesn't love a good chowder crawl or some Tai Chi demos πŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈ? And for those looking for a chill spot, Dry Vibes at Billy Penn Studios sounds like the perfect way to relax and have some fun with friends πŸ’†β€β™€οΈ. Overall, it's gonna be a sick weekend in Philly! 😎

I'm telling ya, Philly's Winter Wonderland is gonna be lit! πŸŽ‰ But, let me just say, if you're planning on going to the Mummers string band competition, don't forget your earplugs, trust me, those mini musicals are gonna be LOUD πŸ˜‚. And, Main Street in Manayunk? More like Main Street in Ice City am I right? 🀣 I mean, 20+ ice sculptures and a chowder crawl? That's some serious winter vibes. But, for all you car enthusiasts out there, the Auto Show is looking pretty cool too πŸš—. Just don't expect me to trade in my electric bike for a gas-guzzler anytime soon πŸ™„. And, if culture isn't your thing, Dry Vibes at Billy Penn Studios? That's a solid alternative, I guess 😎.

Ice sculptures everywhere? Sounds like just another way for the city to break the bank πŸ€‘. I mean, what's next? A winter wonderland in every backyard? 🌳 And 20+ ice sculptures is a lot, but is it really worth the crowds and parking chaos? I'd rather stay home with a warm cup of tea than deal with all that 🍡. The auto show sounds interesting, though - test drives on electric vehicles are something I've been wanting to try out for ages! But those prices? 😳 Too steep for my wallet. CultureFest at the Penn Museum seems like a nice change of pace, but why do they have to have all these different events and ticket prices? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Can't we just have one weekend without breaking the bank?! πŸ’Έ
