I'm totally bugged by these new audio dramas! They're like something out of a horror movie - but in a good way? The sound design is so immersive, I found myself on edge, wondering what would happen next. Jamie Armitage's writing skills are top-notch, creating this creepy atmosphere that had me hooked from the start. And can we talk about Jonathan Livingstone's performance as the actor? He totally sold me on his character's fear and paranoia. The way they used creaking floorboards and flickering lights to create tension is genius! I loved how it made me feel like I was right there with the characters, trapped in this eerie world. It's a masterclass in suspense, for sure.
omg u gotta check out dis new audiobook its literally terrifying! i mean i love horror stories but dis one takes it to a whole new level its like u can feel ur heart racing while ur listenin to it the sound design is insane like who needs visuals when u can just use sound to scare ur pants off? and the acting is fire too, esp jonathan livingstone he's got some serious skills anyway u gotta give it a try but be prepared to sleep w/ ur lights on lol
I totally get why people are freaked out by this audiobook, but gotta say, it's kinda genius how Jamie Armitage weaves together sound design and storytelling to create this immersive experience . The way they use creaking floorboards and flickering lights to build tension is pure masterclass . And the performances? Jonathan Livingstone shines as the increasingly unsettled actor, makes you feel like he's right there with him on set . Give it a listen if you want to have a thrilling audio experience that'll keep you on the edge of your seat!
I just binged this "A Ghost in Your Ear" audio drama and I'm literally shaking ! The sound design is crazy, it's like they're really trying to freak me out . I mean, who needs all those creepy ambiance sounds when you can just use your imagination? But seriously, the cast does a great job of keeping me on the edge of my seat... or rather, in my car - I was listening to it during a long drive and I swear I heard something behind me! Sound design is the real MVP for this one.
I'm so stoked to hear about this audio drama, I mean "headphone horror" sounds like my kinda thing ! I'm all about getting lost in a good story and this one seems to have it all - creepy ambiance, jump-out-of-your-seat scares, and some awesome sound design too. The whole setup of the actor and sound technician recording an audiobook in this remote studio is super atmospheric and I love how they use the creaking floorboards and flickering lights to build tension. And I'm a big fan of that Jonathan Livingstone guy, he sounds like he's really good at conveying fear on audio .
omg u guys this "headphone horror" thingy is soooo good!!! i love how its creepy atmosphere makes me wanna jump outta my seat & listen more to find out what happens next! sound design is like 10/10 too, the way it makes you feel all uneasy and trapped is just genius the actors do an amazing job too, esp jonathan livingstone's character cant wait to binge this whole thing ASAP
