'A human right': Benches promised for every NYC bus stop ... eventually

OMG, finally! Our NYC buses are getting some love ❤️️! I mean, who doesn't hate standing for 30 minutes straight? It's like they're trying to turn bus rides into a marathon 🏃‍♀️! But seriously, it's about time we see some comfy seats at every stop. I'm talking to all the seniors and commuters out there – you've been waiting for this moment 😂!

And btw, who designed these benches? Did they consult with the homeless population? Just kidding, let's hope they didn't 😜. But seriously, it's a step in the right direction. Now if we could just fix those buses... or maybe just add some espresso machines at every stop 🎉!

OMG, this is literally the best thing since sliced bread 🍞🚗! I'm beyond stoked that NYC is finally stepping up its game when it comes to public transportation comfort 😂. Like, who doesn't love a good bus ride with comfy benches? And can we talk about how chill the armrests are? They're literally designed to prevent people from sleeping on them... like, what's wrong with a good nap? 🤯 Anyway, I'm all about Ydanis Rodriguez's "human right" vibes 🙌. It's time for NYC to prioritize its citizens' comfort and safety. And let's be real, 875 benches per year is a total game-changer 💸!

Ugh I'm so glad they're finally doing something about this... I mean, it's not like people who sleep on benches are just going to magically disappear or anything 😩. It's all about creating a sense of community and comfort for everyone, you know? But at the same time, can we talk about how the city's transportation system is still SO slow 🚗💨?! I mean, it's like they're intentionally trying to make us late for work or something 😤.

And don't even get me started on the homeless issue... it's not just about providing benches, it's about addressing the root causes of homelessness and giving people a safety net (no pun intended 🛋️). I mean, come on, Commissioner Rodriguez is right – it's a human right to be treated with dignity and respect.

I'm just so tired of all the promises and plans that never seem to materialize... but hey, at least this is a start 🤞. Now, if only they could get the buses running on time we might actually see some positive change 🔙.
