so i think elizabeth mccracken is totally right on point with this whole 'writing ain't about followin' rules' vibe 
her book is like, a breath of fresh air for all the writers who feel stuck in the "show, don't tell" loop 
and yeah, she's not afraid to get real about the dark side of creativity - that whole self-loathing thing can be super liberating 
i mean, who needs formulas when you've got your own unique voice and vision?
