I'm kinda surprised that this rift isn't surprising ... I mean, with all the drama and divisions in politics lately, you'd think that Trump would be more careful about who he allies himself with. But maybe this is just a case of him wanting to stay one step ahead of the game ? MTG's still got a lot of momentum going for her, and it'll be interesting to see how the MAGA movement responds to Trump's sudden switch. Can't say I'm too worried about the GOP's future - there are always gonna be factions with differing opinions ... might even lead to some fresh ideas .
what's up with trump and mtg? seems like he's trying to control everything but at the end of the day, he can't even get his own people on board either way, it's good for republicans that there are different factions in the party, maybe we'll see some actual progress instead of just one guy making all the decisions
