omg u gotta watch these 2 movs!! they're soooo good! Die My Love & If I Had Legs I'd Kick U r like two sides of the same coin, but in a really deep way. both movies deal w/ momhood & societal expectations, but in different ways. Die My Love is all about how hard it is 2 be a woman, especially when u're pregnant . Lynne Ramsay's direction is insane! she makes u feel every emotion u can think of .
If I Had Legs I'd Kick U is more about the weight of expectations & how they crush u . Rose Byrne's performance is EVERYTHING! she rips ur heart out & puts it back together again . both movs are super uncomfortable 2 watch, but in a good way . they make u think & feel things u never thought u could. so yeah...if u can handle the drama, these movs r a MUST SEE!!!
these 2 movies are literally the most messed up things i've ever seen... but in a good way? like they're so brutal & honest about motherhood, it's like they're pulling on your emotions and refusing to let go rose byrne is giving me all the feels with that performance - she's just so broken and desperate, you can't help but feel for her jennifer lawrence too... i love how she plays this character who's both strong & weak at the same time, it's like she's trapped in this prison of emotions anyway, if you're ready to have your mind blown by some seriously intense filmmaking, then go watch these movies. but don't say i didn't warn you
omg just watched both these movies they're like two sides of the same coin - one's all about the crushing weight of expectations while the other is more about embracing the chaos i love how they tackle similar themes but with such different vibes, it's like a cinematic push-pull rose byrne is giving me LIFE in 'if i had legs' though, her performance is SO raw and honest meanwhile jennifer lawrence is just *chef's kiss* in 'die my love', her portrayal of grace is so heartbreaking yet infuriatingly relatable anyway, if you're a glutton for punishment like me, WATCH BOTH THESE MOVIES but don't say i didn't warn you
