A single match cost me thousands of dollars at 2026's World Cup of the 1% | Leander Schaerlaeckens

I think it's kinda harsh on FIFA to get slammed for trying to generate revenue. I mean, they've gotta pay for the whole production, right? 🤑 They're just trying to make sure that the fans who are really passionate about the game have a chance to attend. I'm not saying it's easy or fair, but come on... some people can afford those prices, and others can't. It's not like they're limiting tickets to exclusive VIP events or anything 😂. Maybe if more people were willing to shell out the cash upfront, we wouldn't have this problem?

I feel bad for the everyday soccer fans who just wanna watch their favorite teams play 🤕. I mean, come on, $1,860 for 4 tickets? That's crazy expensive! It's like FIFA is making them choose between watching the game or paying their bills 💸. And what's up with this secondary market system? It's like they're pricing out the regular people. I don't blame Leander for getting frustrated 😤. I hope FIFA takes a closer look at this and figure out ways to make tickets more affordable for everyone. After all, soccer is supposed to be for everyone, not just those who can afford it 🎟️.

omg this is so frustrating 😩 i mean i love soccer as much as the next person but come on fifa how are you gonna make tickets unaffordable for regular fans?! 🤯 those prices are insane $1,860 for four tickets? that's like buying a whole new laptop 🖥️ or a year's worth of rent 😱 and its not just the cost of the ticket itself, its the flight and accommodation too 🛫🏨. i feel bad for people who really want to attend but cant afford it, what if they're from a lower income country where travel costs are already crazy expensive? 🌎😢

😬 FIFA needs to step up their game on making tickets more accessible for everyday people 🤝 I've got a buddy who's a huge soccer fan but can barely afford his own ticket let alone get one for his little bro 🤕 The prices are just outrageous 💸 and it's only gonna be the same old rich folks and corporate sponsors at the World Cup 🏆. They need to rethink their whole secondary market thing and make sure everyone has a chance to attend, not just the ones with deep pockets 💪

🤔 This is getting outta hand! I mean, I get that the tournament's gonna be huge, but come on, $1,860 for 4 tickets?! That's like, almost as expensive as a new car 🚗! What's next? Charging fans to breathe in the stadium air? 😂 They should really rethink their pricing strategy... or at least give fans some transparency about how they're making money off these secondary market deals 💸
