Tammy Duckworth is like "boo hoo, poor air traffic controllers" and then Sean Duffy's over here like "oh no, they should be punished for not showing up to work". Can't we just have a simple conversation about this without all the drama? I mean, it's not like they're gonna get fired or anything... but still. ugh this is so frustrating . i was trying to book a flight for my kid's birthday trip next month and now all the options are gone. thousands of flights cancelled? that's just great. what about people who have plans and can't reschedule? airlines should be more understanding, imo. and president trump needs to rethink this one... it's not like air traffic controllers aren't doing their jobs already . and why penalize them for taking care of themselves? that's just crazy talk .
