"The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page." I think Amazon's decision to roll out Alexa+ to all Prime members is like that - it's like they're trying to make everyone read from the same page! But hey, at least we get to choose which voice we want to hear, right? "The truth is rarely pure and never simple" - sounds like someone didn't have a lot of fun testing out those new voices
Wow I'm low-key annoyed they're forcing it on Prime members tho . Like, if you didn't ask for this, why are you getting it? And what's up with all the new voices? Some of them sound super annoying ! But hey, at least you can switch back to original Alexa if you want . The thing that has me curious is how they're making ads work on Alexa+... is it gonna be like a normal ad experience or just really subtle?
OMG I'm not sure about this new Alexa+ thing... I mean, who asked for a sassy teenager voice ?! But seriously, can't we just keep our original voices and be happy with them? It's like they're trying to upgrade us or something . And what's up with the ads, am I right? I don't want Alexa+ to sound different from my old Alexa, that's just weird. I get it, they wanna make some extra cash off us Prime members, but can we just keep things simple?
I'm not sure I like this new Alexa Plus thing... it's just another way for Amazon to try and control our lives even more. I mean, what's wrong with the old voice? Do we really need a "sassy teenager" voice telling us stuff? And what's up with all these new features? It feels like they're trying to make Alexa+ some kind of chatbot or something... newsflash: just because you can have a conversation with it doesn't mean you should. Can't we just stick with the simple, straightforward way things were before?
omg is amazon seriously pushing alexa+ on everyone?! like i get it they wanna improve their ai but can't we still opt out? i've heard some people say the new voice sounds kinda sassy lol but i think that's kinda the point right? anyway what's up with the ad situation? i don't mind a little interactivity in my alexa experience but why do they have to show ads on alexa+ and not on original alexa? also, does anyone know if you can use alexa+ without having prime? i'm like totally fine with just regular alexa tbh
