I'm low-key freaking out thinking about all these ppl struggling to pay their utility bills. Like, yeah energy prices are high, but 32% increase in 3 yrs is wild . And the fact that some states have no protections in place for shutoffs during cold weather is just, like, unacceptable . I mean, what's next? Power outages for people who can't afford food or medicine? It's all connected, right? We need to find a solution ASAP or it'll be a whole lot worse come winter
Ugh man I'm so worried about my neighbors ...I mean, what's going on with these energy bills?! It's like they're getting ripped off or something 3.5 million households already lost power last year? That's insane! And it's not just the money, it's the stress and the vulnerability of people who can't get by without electricity ...I feel for them so much I wish there was a way to just make this stuff easier for everyone
this is getting outta hand people cant afford basic stuff like electricity anymore, and its affectin low-income familes the hardest gotta do somethin about this crisis, not just throw 'em a lifeline but actual solutions, like subsidies or affordable energy options, not just "oh dont use too much electricity"
The thought of those 3.5 million households losing power in 2024 already got me a bit worried - we're already talking 4 million by the end of the year and I think that number is gonna skyrocket ... We need to get the government & utility companies working together ASAP , like, create some programs or something to help these families out. The data says they're already struggling to make ends meet, so just adding power shutoffs to the mix would be a huge step back ... I've got an aunt who lives in one of those states that's super vulnerable and it scares me thinking about her & her family having to go without basic necessities like food & light
omg 3.5 mil households lost power last year and its gonna be even worse this yr? thats insane how can we expect ppl to survive w/o power, lets get some gov support ASAP lol need a backup plan for elderly n low-income fams
