Russia-Ukraine War: Ukraine Repels Russian Attacks, General Says Enemy Weakening

The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has shown little change at the front lines, despite intense fighting in various parts of the Donetsk region. According to the Ukrainian military's General Staff, more than 45 enemy attacks were repelled over the past day, with a focus on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka.
The General Staff also reported 17 air strikes and over 20 strikes by multiple launch rocket systems. The situation in Bakhmut remains dire, with the enemy attempting to take full control of the city. Ukrainian defense forces west of the city repelled about 20 enemy attacks.
Oleksandr Syrskyi, commander of Ukrainian Land Forces, posted on Telegram that soldiers and commanders who destroyed the myth of invincibility of Wagner fighters and Russian paratroopers. Syrskyi stated that "the enemy is weakening and trying to cover up its failures with new fakes about the capture of Bakhmut."
Syrskyi emphasized that "the forward movement of our entire army depends on what every soldier is doing right now on their section of the front." The General Staff acknowledged operational successes in the Donetsk area, where Ukrainian military took some positions and gained a more strategic position.
Russian forces have also been introduced into the area. Denis Pushilin, leader of the self-declared Donetsk People's Republic, claimed that Russian forces were still advancing in the Avdiivka direction. However, he noted that "it is still premature to speak of encirclement," as the situation has become "extremely difficult" for the enemy.
Ukrainian military officials also highlighted that the Russians are suffering significant losses and lack sufficient equipment and ammunition.

don't get me wrong, i feel for the ukrainians who r fighting for their lives, but it feels like the russians are just throwing good soldiers against a wall and expecting them to fall back... or get captured. anyway, if syrskyi is saying they're weakening, maybe that's not entirely bad news? 
at least we can hope that the conflict ends sooner rather than later 
just got outta a meeting with a friend who's from Ukraine, and I gotta say it's been really tough on them... 
all this conflict is so draining not just physically but mentally too... my friend was saying that the soldiers are doing everything they can to hold back the enemy, but it feels like Russia keeps finding new ways to attack 
. what I want to know is when will world leaders step in and help bring some peace to this situation? 
we gotta be thinking about the people living in the middle of all this... Ukraine needs our support right now 
. Anyways, I think what's crazy is how the enemy is weakening, but they're still trying to put out these false claims that they're making progress, you know? It's like, if you're really winning, why would you do that?

I'm just hoping for a peaceful resolution soon, it's getting old seeing all these young soldiers fighting and dying. The morale of the Ukrainian troops seems to be high, though, that Oleksandr Syrskyi guy is giving me hope 
. It feels like things haven't changed much at the front lines, but I guess that's to be expected in a war situation. What's crazy is how much the Ukrainian military has been able to repel those Russian attacks - 45 enemy attacks?! That's impressive

. But honestly, I think they should just own up to it and admit that things aren't going in their favor

and Russians are losing a lot of soldiers 
but Ukrainian defense forces are holding strong 
and they're gaining ground in the Donetsk area 
It's all about teamwork and coordination among soldiers 
every single one of them matters 
but it seems like they lack equipment and ammo 
Ukraine is doing okay despite being outnumbered 
️ and syrskyi's right the enemy is weakening but still trying to spin things they should be focusing on supporting our troops instead of denying their losses
