Arsenal go top as Martinelli puts finishing touch to win against Bayern Munich

Arsenal claimed top spot in Group A of the Champions League after a thrilling 3-2 victory over high-flying Bayern Munich at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners' 100% record in the competition remains intact, with Martinelli scoring twice to seal the win.

In front of a raucous home crowd, Arsenal dominated possession in the opening stages but it was Bayern who took the lead through Jurrien Timber's header from a corner. However, Lennart Karl quickly equalized for the visitors before substitutes Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli sealed the win with late goals.

Declan Rice's excellent display helped push the opposition back and Arsenal capitalized on Bayern's set-piece defending issues to take control of the game. The introduction of Martin Zubimendi also provided a boost to the team, allowing them to gain more possession.

Just before halftime, Leandro Trossard limped off with an injury, replaced by Madueke, who was instrumental in Arsenal's second goal. Riccardo Calafiori's cross played perfectly into the path of Madueke, who tapped home for his first Champions League goal.

Bayern pushed hard for a second equalizer but Arsenal's defense held firm. An error from Dayot Upamecano allowed Declan Rice to set up Martinelli for his second and Arsenal's third.

The win not only sends Arsenal top of Group A but also marks their seventh consecutive victory in the competition, solidifying their position as one of Europe's top teams.

What a huge upset! Bayern Munich is known for being all about defense but they got absolutely thrashed by the Gunners ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘€ I mean, how did they not see that Martinelli was a threat? Their set-piece defending was non-existent and it cost them big time ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ. And on the other hand, Arsenal is looking more solid with every game, their defense is holding up well ๐Ÿ‘. This win will give them a huge confidence boost going into the next stages of the competition ๐Ÿ’ช

omg i'm literally freaking out rn!! ๐Ÿคฉ arsenal is killing it in the champions league!!! 100% record in group a? that's insane! martinelli scored not one but TWO goals lol what can you say about bayern though? they just got smashed ๐Ÿค• i think they needed that win to get back on track. i'm loving the way arsenal played, their team spirit is everything ๐Ÿ’– declan rice was a total game changer, and that second goal from martinelli... *chef's kiss* ๐Ÿ‘€

I wonder what it'd be like to visit Tokyo during cherry blossom season... ๐ŸŒธ I mean, have you ever seen those flowers bloom? It's like the whole city comes alive with color and beauty. We're so lucky to live in a world where we can experience such wonders. Anyway, back to Arsenal โ€“ they must've been totally buzzing after that win! The atmosphere at the Emirates Stadium sounded electric ๐ŸŒŸ

I'm loving how this season is shaping up for Arsenal! They're on fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’จ! Martinelli is a beast ๐Ÿฆ– on the pitch and his second goal was pure magic โœจ! The team's defense has been solid, and Declan Rice is having an amazing game ๐Ÿ’ช. Bayern Munich gave them a run for their money but in the end, Arsenal's squad depth paid off ๐Ÿค. It's still early days, but this win puts them top of Group A and I'm excited to see what they do next! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

omg can't believe arseneal just took down bayern Munich at home ๐Ÿคฏ! Martinelli's goal streak is insane ๐Ÿ˜‚ and I'm loving how Declan Rice stepped up to help push them back ๐Ÿ™Œ, they really need him in that midfield spot ๐Ÿ‘. but seriously, this win is huge for their championship hopes ๐Ÿ† and now they're sitting pretty at the top of group a ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ” gotta keep watching these games though it's gonna be an epic ride! ๐Ÿ˜…

omg what a thriller ๐Ÿคฏ! so happy for arsenal they played so well under pressure and got that crucial win over bayern Munich. martinelli is on fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ด with those two goals... i love how the team came from behind to seal it. declan rice was a beast ๐Ÿ’ช in midfield, he really helped push the game forward. and noni madueke's cameo was so clutch ๐Ÿ‘! now they're top of group a and looking strong for the title ๐Ÿ†

๐Ÿ† Got to love Gunners' grit & determination! ๐Ÿ’ช They showed Bayern who's boss! ๐Ÿ‘Š Martinelli's 2 goals sealed the win โ€“ what a game! ๐ŸŽ‰

I gotta say, I'm low-key shocked they didn't get destroyed by Bayern ๐Ÿค”. Those Munich guys are like the Messi of European football. One minute they're 2-0 down and the next they come back to win? That's not normal, fam ๐Ÿ˜…. And what's with all these injuries? Leandro Trossard limping off and then Madueke comes in and saves the day? It's like they're trolling us ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ. Still, I guess 3-2 is a decent win for Arsenal... maybe. They'll probably just keep on winning and we'll all be like "oh yeah, they're actually good" ๐Ÿ™„.

I'm so stoked that arsenal won this huge game against bayern munich! ๐Ÿ’ฅ They played an amazing match and totally deserved that win. I mean, martinelli is literally on fire right now with those 2 goals, what a player! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ But i think what impressed me most was the team's defense, they really held it together even when bayern was pushing hard for an equalizer. Declan rice was also super solid, he's like the heartbeat of that team ๐Ÿ’–. And can we talk about how good Noni madueke is? he came on and just changed the game ๐Ÿ”„. anyway, this win puts arsenal in a great position to take top spot in group a, i'm loving it! ๐Ÿ˜„

I donโ€™t usually comment but... I think this 3-2 win over Bayern Munich is a huge confidence boost for Arsenal! They really showed they can compete with the big boys and itโ€™s awesome to see Martinelli scoring twice. Their set-piece defense has been super weak all season so to shut down Bayern's corner kicks was clutch. I also love how Noni Madueke came off the bench and had a huge impact โ€“ he's got some serious potential! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’ฅ

"Believe you can and you're halfway there." ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ”ฅ They really believe in themselves and it shows on the pitch! ๐Ÿ’ช Their team spirit is strong and that's what's getting them to the top. ๐Ÿ‘Š

OMG, what a match! ๐Ÿคฉ I'm loving how Arsenal is on fire right now! Their squad seems so balanced and deadly on offense. Martinelli's two goals were insane! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ The way they countered Bayern's pressure was pure magic ๐Ÿ”ฎ. And Declan Rice, he's been a game-changer for them! His tackles are just so clutch ๐Ÿ’ช.

I gotta admit, though, I'm a bit old-school for this Champions League stuff. Remember when it used to be about the drama and flair of the 90s? Now it's all about high-intensity pressing and data analysis ๐Ÿคฏ. Don't get me wrong, it's still an amazing spectacle, but sometimes I just wanna watch some old-school football romance ๐Ÿ’˜.

But hey, Arsenal's on fire, and I'm here for it! They're definitely the team to beat now. Who knows what they'll do in the knockout stages? ๐Ÿค” Maybe we'll see a thrilling comeback from Bayern? Stranger things have happened, right? ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

come on man! 7 straight wins in champs league is insane. arsenal is living their best life right now ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ”ฅ they're playing some beautiful football and martinelli is a clinical finisher ๐ŸŽฏโšฝ๏ธ bayern should be giving them a run for their money but apparently not tonight ๐Ÿ˜ declan rice was boss out there btw ๐Ÿ’ช his partnership with upamecano is solid as hell ๐Ÿ”’

man I'm loving this arsenal team, they're on fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ดโšช๏ธ! 100% record is crazy, and martinelli's form is insane ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ‘. bayern were giving it a go but arsene's defense was solid as rock ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿฐ. i'm hyped to see them take on the rest of group A, especially that next match against benfica ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ’ช

omg can't believe arsenal is on fire right now ๐Ÿคฏ they're playing so well together as a team and martinelli is on fire with those 2 goals ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ด๐Ÿ’ฅ Declan rice was also super clutch in the game, his defense was solid and he set up martinelli for that last goal which sealed the win for arsenal ๐Ÿ’ช

i wonder what's going through bayern's mind right now, they knew they were playing against a tough opponent but still got outplayed and lost 3-2 ๐Ÿ˜” maybe this is a wake-up call for them to adjust their strategy?

anyway, this is super exciting news for arsenal fans! they're one step closer to making it to the final ๐Ÿ†

just wow ๐Ÿคฏ, 3-2 vs bayern is insane ! i'm loving martinelli's 2 goals btw ๐ŸŽฏ he's on fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ and declan rice was a beast ๐Ÿ’ช in the midfield. arsene Wenger must be proud ๐Ÿ™ of his team's performance. they played some amazing football out there โšฝ๏ธ, and it's great to see them solidifying their position as one of europe's top teams ๐Ÿ‘Œ

omg yooo! what a game!!! ๐Ÿ˜ arsenal is on fire rn! martinelli is literally unstoppable!! ๐Ÿคฏ his second goal was so sick!!! and that set-piece defending by bayern was laughable lol ๐Ÿ™„ declan rice is my man, he's been carrying the team all season long ๐Ÿ™Œ and that boost from martin zubimendi really paid off ๐Ÿ’ฅ i'm loving this 100% record in the champions league, let's keep it up, gunners!!! ๐Ÿ’ช

I'm so over these articles ๐Ÿ™„. Every game is like a highlight reel. Can we get some context on the team's strategy or stats? It feels like I'm just reading a summary of the match instead of getting any real insight into how they're playing in general. And what's up with all these injury reports? Is that something that happens frequently this season? Also, the lack of discussion about Bayern's performance is weird considering they're one of the top teams in Europe...

I'm loving this season of the Champions League so far! ๐Ÿ˜ Arsenal's 100% record is impressive, and it's awesome to see Martinelli scoring twice - he's definitely on fire right now! ๐Ÿš€ The Gunners' dominating possession in the opening stages was a great sign that they were gonna take control. And can we talk about Declan Rice for a second? He's been absolutely instrumental in helping Arsenal push Bayern back, his tackles and interceptions are just top-notch! ๐Ÿ’ช The introduction of Martin Zubimendi also made a huge difference, allowing them to gain more possession and create scoring opportunities.

I'm not surprised that Bayern pushed hard for an equalizer after going down 2-1, but their set-piece defending issues really cost them the game. ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ On the other hand, Arsenal's defense held firm in the end, which was a huge relief for the home crowd. Overall, it was a thrilling match with plenty of twists and turns - can't wait to see what the rest of the group stage has in store! โšฝ๏ธ
