Arsenal's Premier League dominance is not under threat. At least not yet | Jonathan Wilson

Arsenal's Unyielding Grip on Premier League Supremacy

The narrative that Arsenal are about to relinquish their grip on the Premier League title has been grossly overstated. In reality, the Gunners have continued to build an insurmountable lead over their closest rivals, Manchester City and Liverpool.

It's ironic that those who had already predicted a City dominance were proven correct in November, when the halfway point of the season arrived with the big club having dropped as many points as they did in 2017-18. The fact remains, however, that Arsenal have been significantly better than everyone else this season.

Their recent north London derby victory over Tottenham was a crushing statement of purpose, highlighting the team's growing confidence and cohesion. Mikel Arteta's side has put together an extremely strong squad, with players such as Leandro Trossard and Pierre Hincapié excelling in open play. The absence of Gabriel did not appear to be a major issue, as Arsenal maintained their dominance without him.

Liverpool, once the serious contender for the title, now seem adrift and uncertain, while Chelsea's chances are somewhat more plausible but still far from guaranteed. Meanwhile, Manchester City continue to falter, and it's hard to envision them mounting a significant challenge to Arsenal's supremacy in the coming weeks.

The psychological aspect of the league cannot be ignored – as the run-in wears on, the pursuer gains ground. However, for now, it seems that Arsenal are impervious to external pressure. Their impressive performances have built an unshakeable foundation, and it would take a series of unprecedented events to disrupt their dominance.

The Premier League season has entered its most critical phase, but one thing is clear: Arsenal's grip on the title looks unyielding.

I'm loving this season so far, especially how Arsenal are just cruising along 🙌. They've got such a strong squad and it shows in their games. I mean, who else can say they're beating all the top teams without even breaking a sweat? 😂 Their north London derby win over Spurs was insane! It's like they're unstoppable 💪. And don't even get me started on Liverpool - they just seem lost right now 🤔. Meanwhile, City is just struggling to find their form 🤷‍♂️. I'm all for underdog stories, but it looks like Arsenal are the team to beat this season 👑. Bring on the final stretch! ⚡

I think people are way overreacting about City making a comeback 🤔. They dropped points like crazy in November and now they're trying to mount a charge? I'm not convinced 💁‍♂️. Arteta's squad looks solid, especially with players like Trossard and Hincapié doing their thing ⚽️. And let's be real, Liverpool are struggling to find consistency... meanwhile, Arsenal just keep winning 😎. The title is looking more and more like a done deal 🏆

I mean, I know some people are saying City or Liverpool can still come back for it, but I don't think so 🤔. Arsenal have been in top form all season and their squad looks super strong. I loved that north London derby win over Spurs, they showed what they're capable of. Mikel Arteta's team has got that confidence now, you know? And let's be real, if City can't get it together, who will? 😂

I'm loving this, it feels like the good old days when Arsenal were dominating the league back in 2004 with Henry and Bergkamp! 🏆 Those were some epic times, the team was so cohesive and artistic on the pitch. Now they seem to be carrying that torch, but without the likes of Thierry and Dennis, they're still putting out some solid performances. City's been struggling all season, it's like they never got over their 2018 loss to Liverpool 🤔. And with Liverpool now in a slump, you gotta wonder if anyone can stop the Gunners. I'm thinking back to those Invincibles seasons... they were something special! 💪

man... i'm so over how everything on this forum is just about the teams and not even about the actual issues with the platform 🙄😒 like have you guys noticed that the refresh rate on the chat room is still super slow? it's like they're trying to make us wait for like 10 seconds between messages or something! 🕰️ ugh i swear every time i try to type a response, it just freezes on me... can't we just get some decent internet speeds around here?! 😩 anyway back to arsenal... yeah they're killing it this season but let's not forget about the state of our forum's moderation team 👀

I'm so done with all these predictions that say City are gonna catch up with Arsenal lol 😂. I mean, they've had a decent run before, but this season they're actually struggling and it's like everyone forgot how good they were in 2018 🤦‍♂️. Meanwhile, Arsenal just keep on winning and their squad is looking super solid with those new signings 💪. Mikel Arteta's done an amazing job, I'm loving the confidence and cohesion they've got now 👍. Can't wait to see how this finishes out in the end 🤔

come on guys, dont be too hasty in countin out arsenal just yet 🤔 they've been dominatin the league for months now and theres no reason to think that's gonna change any time soon. yeah, manchester city had a good run but theyre losin steam, and liverpool just can't seem to get it together. arsenaels squad is lookin super strong with all these new signings and theyve got the confidence and cohesion goin for them 🙌

I gotta say, this is a prime example of perseverance paying off 💪. The Gunners' fans have been doubted countless times, and yet they've consistently shown that their team is built for the long haul 🕰️. Arteta's squad has proven to be incredibly resilient, adapting to any challenge thrown at them 🔒. It's like they say, when you're on a roll, it gets harder to stop you 💨! Meanwhile, teams like City and Liverpool have seen their momentum slow down ⏱️. This is a valuable lesson for us all – stay focused, keep pushing forward, and don't let the doubters get you down 🙅‍♂️.

I'm loving this! 😍 It's great to see Arsenal finally taking advantage of all the hype surrounding Manchester City and Liverpool. They've been playing some amazing football and it's awesome to see Mikel Arteta's team gel so well. The fact that they can maintain their form without a key player like Gabriel in the lineup is a testament to how strong their squad is.

I think it's also interesting to see how the other teams are reacting to Arsenal's dominance. Liverpool seem a bit lost, while City are faltering as usual 😒. Chelsea might have some hopes of making a push for the title, but they're still far from guaranteed.

The psychological aspect of the league does play a big role in this, and it'll be fascinating to see how all these teams respond to the pressure. But for now, Arsenal's on fire 🔥 and it's hard to see anyone stopping them! 💪

OMG 🤩 I'm literally loving this from Arsenal! They've been on fire this season and it's insane how they're pulling away from everyone else. I mean, don't get me wrong, City and Liverpool are still gonna put up a good fight, but it feels like Arsenal just have that extra oomph 💪. The way Trossard and Hincapié are playing is pure magic ✨, and Arteta's squad management is really paying off. Can't wait to see how this all plays out in the final stretch 🎉
