OMG, I'm like totally freaked out about this ! I had no idea they were even making play sand with asbestos in it ! My little brother loves playing with that stuff at school and now I'm gonna have to ask his teacher if the school has already checked their supplies . And honestly, Hobbycraft should've taken action sooner, it's like they're trying to avoid a bad rep . I totally get why Prof Bampton wants the precautionary principle back in effect - you can't be too careful when it comes to things that could harm our health . Maybe this is just what we need to wake up and demand better regulations from our government .

oh noooo! thats so worrisome!! asbestos in craft sand?! my heart is racing just thinking about it i hope the parent who reported this was careful when they found out hobbycraft should've done a better check before selling it what if kids (or even adults) played with this stuff for a loooong time? we need to get that precautionary principle back in action ASAP!
