I'm just gonna say this, I think it's crazy that people are still fighting for what's right after all these years
. These veterans are literally putting their lives on the line and they're still standing up for what matters most - helping others and doing good in the world. It's heartbreaking to see how much stress and anxiety the current admin is causing, especially for our own troops
.
I mean, come on, we gotta stand with these guys! They've sacrificed so much for us, now it's time we return that favor by being there for them
. We need more people like Edgar and Kayla speaking up about what's really important - not just politics, but our humanity
.
I also think it's kinda wild how many veterans are feeling conflicted about orders from the White House. I get it, we all have our own moral compasses, but at least some common sense is being lost on us lately
. Anyways, this event was super powerful and I'm just gonna reiterate what others have said - these veterans deserve better

I mean, can you imagine having to follow orders that go against your moral values? 
It's not just about politics, it's about humanity. Our guys/girls are fighting for their country, but also for the people they're serving with. We need more voices like these speaking out against injustice 
. The thing is, we can't always agree on everything, but when veterans come together to fight for what's right, it gives me hope 
... like what's next, them starting to deport grandma because she's a US citizen? 
that's not patriotism, that's just plain cruel 
... we need to take care of our own veterans first before we start making life hard for everyone else 
I mean, come on, veterans protesting Trump's policies? It's like they're saying "Hey, Donald, we fought for your freedom, now you gotta respect ours" 
. But seriously, can't these guys just have a peaceful protest without the ICE police showing up and detaining them? 
That's just cold 
. And what's with all the moral dilemmas, bro? Like, if I'm on a submarine and I get an order to bomb something, I'd be like "Uh, no thanks, I'm good" 
. But for real though, these vets are speaking truth to power, and that takes guts
