I'm not sure what's more surprising - that Yulia Putintseva actually pulled off a win in that match or that she decided to bust out some old Russian folk tunes on the court . Either way, it shows that even when things are going crazy, you gotta think outside the box (or in this case, inside the stadium ). But seriously though, those jeers and catcalls can be really tough to deal with - I feel for her if she was getting belittled like that . Maybe the music thing was a bit unconventional, but hey, if it worked, who's complaining?
