Bambu’s P1S Combo 3D Printer Setup Keeps Me Tinkering

Bambu's P1S Combo 3D Printer Setup Keeps Me Tinkering

For over a decade, I've viewed three-dimensional printers as shop tools rather than home gadgets. Their usefulness only grows after months of trial and error, with various attachments and discarded plastic scraps. This has changed with the Bambu P1S combo.

In just under 20 minutes, this printer produced a near-perfect Benchy test model. After a few days of use, I was confident that my next print would be done by the end of the day. The P1S's ease of use and speed have streamlined my workflow, making me more productive with my prints.

While not perfect, the P1S's minor issues are easily overlooked when compared to its benefits. With a little plastic waste handling, this printer can produce many items. However, I did need to add an empty filament box behind the printer to catch the waste and prevent any messes.

The bundle that includes the multi-filament handling Automatic Material Swapper (AMS) is worth the extra cost in my opinion. The AMS has greatly simplified the process of switching between filaments and colors during printing, allowing me to print projects more efficiently.

Before using the Bambu P1S Combo, I had to batch parts by color or just print in whatever color was already loaded. Now, I can print projects in an order that makes sense for time or assembly order without worrying about switching between filaments and colors. The printer also comes with slots for desiccant to keep your filament perfectly dry.

If you choose to use Bambu filament spools, the AMS can read the chips inside and report the material and color info back to the slicer. However, I did experience some minor issues when synchronizing the filament colors and types back to the slicer.

The P1S has genuinely changed the way I approach 3D printing. Rather than wrestling with my printer or dealing with filament swaps, I can focus on creating complex projects without worrying about perfectly optimized beds or keeping stacks of filaments sealed in plastic bags. The minor software oddities and occasional plastic cleanup are easy to overlook when the rest of the process is so easy and straightforward.

Overall, the Bambu P1S Combo 3D printer is a great option for those looking for a simple 3D printing experience with some advanced features.

🤩 just got my hands on the new Bambu P1S combo 🎉 3d printing game changer 🔄 totally ditched my old printer and never looked back 💡 had to do a bit of tinkering with the plastic scraps but it was worth it 🌟 the AMS is literally a game saver ⏰ no more tedious filament swaps 🙅‍♂️🔩 the printer is so fast I can make an entire project in under a day 🕒 and it's still pretty easy to use 🤓 would totally recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free 3d printing experience 👍

I got this opinion about Bambu's new combo 🤔... I think people are hating on it too much over minor issues... like, who needs their filament to be super optimized all the time? It's just so convenient that it has slots for desiccant now 📦. And the AMS is a game changer - no more batch printing by color or messing around with multiple filaments. The printer might not be perfect but it's definitely made my workflow way easier 💻. I mean, what's wrong with having some plastic waste to deal with? It's just part of the process 🎨. And let's be real, people are probably just mad they can't print as fast and easy as me 😂.

I just got my hands on this Bambu P1S combo 3d printer thingy and I gotta say, it's been a game changer 😊. I mean, I've seen people struggle with 3d printers for ages but now I can just crank out parts in no time. The best part? It comes with some nifty attachments that make filament management super easy 🙌. I'm not gonna lie, I was skeptical at first but now I'm hooked 💥. Sure, there are a few minor hiccups here and there but overall it's been worth the investment. If you're in the market for a 3d printer, I'd say give this one a shot! 👍

The resurgence of 3D printing has me stoked 🤩! I was never one to get excited about these gadgets until now, and the Bambu P1S combo has totally flipped that script for me. The fact that it can churn out decent prints in under 20 minutes is insane – I mean, who needs to wait around for hours when you can be creating something new?

And yeah, I'm loving the auto-material swapper (AMS) feature – it's like having a personal assistant for your prints 🤖. No more batch-printing by color or dealing with messy filament swaps. It's all so streamlined and easy to use now.

Of course, there are still some minor hiccups here and there, but honestly, I'm just too stoked about the convenience and speed to care 😅. The slots for desiccant are a nice touch, too – it's all about keeping that filament fresh and dry, right?

Anyway, if you're looking for a 3D printing experience that's more fun than frustrating, look no further than the Bambu P1S combo 🎉. It might not be perfect, but it's definitely got me hooked!

I'm loving my new P1S combo 🤩! Took me less than an hour to set it up and start printing out these sick Benchy models 🔥💨. The auto material swapper is literally a game changer - no more messing around with filament changes mid-print 😂. I'm still getting used to the whole dry filament thing, but the desiccant slots are super convenient 🤪. And yeah, some minor software issues here and there, but honestly, it's worth it for how easy it is to use 👌. Now my prints are on point and my workflow has been a total game changer ⏱️💻!

I just got my hands on this new Bambu P1S combo 3D printer thingy 🤖 and I gotta say, it's been a game changer for me! I used to think 3D printers were only for pros, but now I can make some pretty cool stuff in no time 😎. The best part is how easy it is to use - like, seriously, 20 minutes to get your first print done? That's crazy fast 🤯. And the little attachments they come with are really nice too, especially the Automatic Material Swapper thingy... it makes switching between colors so much easier 💡. I was skeptical about buying Bambu filament, but now that the AMS is connected, it works like a charm 🔩. My only gripe is when it gets a little finicky with color swaps, but overall, this printer has made my life way easier 🙌.

😊 Just got my hands on that Bambu P1S combo too! I'm loving the speed and ease of use, it's like night and day compared to my old printer 🌃. The AMS is a total game changer, no more worrying about messing up filament swaps or dealing with dried out spools 🤯. And yeah, I agree about the filament box, mine got a bit messy too 😅. One thing that did take some getting used to was the slicing software, but after a few prints I'm good to go 👍. The slots for desiccant are genius, keeps my filament super dry and fresh 🌸. If you're thinking of upgrading, I'd say give it a shot! 💪
