I don't buy it... a "malicious vandalism" causing a whole system failure? Like, what's the chance of that happening by coincidence? And no camera footage or eyewitnesses to back up the claim? The spokesperson just says it's complicated and they're working hard to fix it... but where's the proof? What exactly was damaged? How much did it cost to repair? Let me see some numbers and sources before I start trusting this "malicious vandalism" story...
omg, like come on bart is supposed to be reliable lol, thousands of ppl stuck at stations because some vandals had a tantrum . and now people are saying its getting worse over time? that's prob cuz they're not putting enough funding into maintenance . i mean, if u can't even keep the trains running w/o major issues, how r u supposed to expect ppl to trust it more?

I think BART should just own up to it and say the system is a hot mess ! It's clear that it can't handle the constant disruptions, and instead of trying to spin it as "malicious vandalism", they should be like "yeah, our systems are broken, sorry not sorry" . I mean, thousands of people got stuck on trains - what kind of protocol is supposed to prevent that? It's just a cop-out .
