Bears get 2 starting LBs back for Packers game

Bears Get Two Key Linebackers Back for Key Packers Matchup

The Chicago Bears have received a significant boost heading into their upcoming matchup against the Green Bay Packers, as starting linebackers T.J. Edwards and Noah Sewell will be available to play on Sunday.

Edwards, who has been hampered by a persistent hamstring injury all season, expressed his excitement about returning to Lambeau Field, his wife's hometown. The Wisconsin native, who has seen his fair share of Packers games with family members, jokingly acknowledged that he is "slowly converting" them into Bears fans.

Edwards will don a small protective pad for his injured hand, which broke during his last appearance on November 2. Despite missing significant time due to injury, Edwards remains optimistic about the team's readiness, stating, "I think it's exciting – we've got all the bullets ready to go."

Sewell's return is equally welcomed, as he has been dealing with an elbow injury since suffering it three games ago against the Giants.

Injury reports confirm that cornerback Tyrique Stevenson and linebacker Ruben Hyppolite II will not be available due to hip and shoulder issues respectively. The Packers have also ruled out several key players, including defensive linemen Lukas Van Ness and Collin Oliver, receiver Savion Williams, and running back MarShawn Lloyd.

With Edwards and Sewell set to take the field, the Bears are looking to capitalize on their home-field advantage against a Packers team dealing with numerous injuries.

Yaaassss 😁 they're finally getting some key players back! T.J. Edwards is like a breath of fresh air - I love his positive vibe 💪 and Noah Sewell's return is super welcome too 🙌 their energy will definitely boost the team's morale 💥 cant wait for this matchup, should be a real nail-biter!!! 🤔

omg what's up with all these injuries 🤕?! like, can't a team just have a decent season for once without someone getting hurt? 🙄 anyway, back to TJ Edwards and Noah Sewell... I feel bad for the guy who broke his hand 😔, hope it heals ASAP! so, Packers are really struggling here 🤦‍♂️, can't they afford some decent backups or something? 💸 btw, Lambeau Field is always so electric 🏟️, I can imagine how exciting it must be for Edwards to play there! 💥

So they're gonna have 2 of their linebackers back for this game against the Packers - T.J. Edwards and Noah Sewell. That's defo a boost for the Bears! They've been struggling without them, especially with all those other key players out too. The guys who are injured are missing some big names like Van Ness and Oliver on defense, and Savion Williams is out on offense. I think it's great that Edwards is back, he's been talking about how hyped he is to play at Lambeau Field - his wife is from there, so it's personal for him! The Bears are gonna try to make the most of their home field advantage with these two returnees on board 🏈💪

Yaaas 🎉 finally some good news for the bears! 💪 T.J. Edwards and Noah Sewell returning is like a shot of adrenaline straight into their season ⚡️ I'm hyped to see them take on the packers at lambeau field, it's gonna be a whole different story 😏 those injuries are definitely gonna hurt the packers, gotta love the bears' chances now 🤩

omg bears fans must be hyped rn 🤩 edwards and sewell's return is huge for them! it's crazy how much of an impact those two can make on the field, especially with all the packers' injuries. but i gotta say, lambeau field is always gonna be a tough place to play, even without a full team 💪 can't wait to see how this game goes down! 📺

😍 OMG u guys!!! The bears just got two key linebackers back and I'm FREAKING OUT!!! 🤩 T.J. Edwards is finally coming back from his hamstring injury and Noah Sewell is returning from his elbow issue... this is HUGE for the team! 🔥 The Packers are looking super depleted with all those injuries, so I think the bears have a good chance of winning this one at Lambeau Field 🏟️😎. The energy in Chicago must be electric now! ⚡💥

I'm low-key hyped for this matchup between the Bears and Packers! 🤩 The return of T.J. Edwards and Noah Sewell is a huge deal for the Bears, especially since they've been missing some key players due to injury. It's not looking good for the Packers either, with several big-name guys out. I'm curious to see how this all plays out - will the Bears' home-field advantage give them an edge? The Packers have been dealing with a lot of injuries, so it'll be interesting to see if they can still put up a fight 🤔💪
