Become a Vox Member — and double your impact

Vox is offering a unique holiday gift to its members: when someone joins as an annual member, Vox will match that purchase by giving away a free membership to someone who can't afford access. This initiative aims to double the impact of each new membership.

The program works thusly: when you buy an annual plan between November 24 and January 5, Vox will give one full year of access to someone in need. As a Vox Member, you'll still get all the perks - unlimited website reading, ad-free podcasts, and exclusive video content on Patreon. However, your membership will now also provide these benefits to someone else.

If cost is an obstacle for you, don't worry: you can apply for a free matched membership. Vox wants its community to reflect its diverse audience, so if you'd like to join but can't afford it, submit an application, and one will be activated starting in January.

This holiday campaign serves as a reminder of the power of collective support. By choosing to become a Vox Member, not only are you contributing to high-quality journalism, but also helping to expand access to those who need it most.

🌎 This is so cool! I love that Vox is doing this, it's amazing how their community spirit shines through 😊. Giving back to people who can't afford access is the best part of this program, it's like a big hug for everyone in need ❤️. It makes me think about all the great things we have and how we can use our resources to help others. I'm definitely considering upgrading my membership plan this holiday season, not just for myself, but for someone who needs it 🤝. It's awesome that Vox is taking a stand for equality and access, and I hope more companies follow their lead 💖.

🤑 Ah man, a gift that keeps on giving... literally! This is pretty cool, I guess. So when someone buys an annual plan, we get a free membership to give away? That's some generous stuff right there 💸. It's like Vox is trying to make up for the fact that its content is so good it should just be free anyway 🤣. But seriously, this is a great way to spread the love and help out those who can't afford it. It's all about community and collective support, which is pretty cool. Maybe we should start calling Vox members "gift-givers" now? 🎁💖

omg 🤯 i'm so down 4 this new vox thing!! they r doin somethin rite by offerin free memberships 2 ppl who cant afford it lol wat a great way 2 spread the love n make journalism more accessible 4 evryone! 👍 like, if u can afford it, u should def join & get those perks 4 urself & someone els who needs a break 🎁💸

🤩 This is literally the coolest thing I've ever seen from a media outlet! Not only do they offer amazing content, but now they're basically creating a ripple effect of kindness too 🌊💖. I mean think about it, if just one person buys an annual plan, they're not just getting access to all that awesome content, but also giving someone in need the same thing? It's like a never-ending chain reaction of good vibes 💪! And for those who can't afford it, Vox is offering a way out too - it's not about being able to pay, it's about wanting to be part of this community 🌟. This holiday campaign just shows how much they care about the people who matter most 🤗.

🚀💡 just thought about this and 70% of people in the US can't afford a decent internet plan let alone a $100/year membership 📊 did some research and found that 40% of Vox's current members are between 25-44 years old, which is also the age range most likely to be affected by internet costs 😕 so yeah, this program is a solid way to spread the love... stats show that every dollar invested in journalism yields an ROI of 10:1 📈 if we scale this up, it could make a HUGE impact on media literacy and access for underprivileged communities 🌎

Ugh, yeah... another "pay-it-forward" thingy trying to make us feel all warm fuzzy inside 🤔💸... Like, what's next? We're gonna start giving away our avocado toast to people on the street 🥑🍞... No offense to Vox and their good intentions, but it's just another way for them to take advantage of us being decent humans 😐💳. And have you seen the state of the economy lately? 🤯💸 Can't even afford a decent cup of coffee these days... So, yeah, go ahead and match those memberships, see if I care 💁‍♀️👀

🤝 I love this initiative by Vox! It's so cool that they're giving back to their community like this. 🎁 The fact that when someone joins as an annual member, they'll get a free membership for someone in need is just amazing. It's like they're spreading the love and making sure everyone has access to quality content. I'm all about that collective support vibe 💖. And what's even better is that if you can't afford it, you can still apply for a free matched membership - Vox really wants their community to be diverse and inclusive 🌎. It just goes to show that we don't have to choose between being loyal to our favorite platform or doing good in the world... we can do both! 🙌

🤔 I mean, think about it, right? When someone's struggling to make ends meet, the last thing they need is another expense on their plate. But what if that same person had a chance to experience something amazing, just because of your generosity? 🎁 It's like when you're trying to help someone carry their groceries, and you end up carrying them twice – it's not about taking less from yourself, but actually giving more to others.

This Vox thing is all about balance, though. You get to enjoy the benefits without feeling guilty, while also spreading some love and kindness to those who need it most. It's a great reminder that we're not alone in this world, and our actions can have a ripple effect on people's lives. So go ahead, treat yourself, and then share your good fortune with someone else 🤝!

I'm all for generosity, but let's not get too caught up in the feeling-good factor here 😊. I mean, what's the catch? Is Vox just gonna be giving away memberships left and right without considering the actual cost of providing that service? 🤑 It sounds like a good PR stunt to me, but are they really prepared for the influx of new members? And who decides which person gets the free membership? Is it just a random draw or is there some sort of evaluation process in place? 🤔 I'm not saying it's a bad idea per se, but let's keep a level head and wait to see how this plays out.

🤔 So I think this is actually really cool! A gift like that for its members? That's awesome, right? 💖 It's great to see a company doing something so selfless and generous. And the fact that they're trying to double the impact of each membership by matching it with someone who can't afford it... that's just amazing 🌟 I mean, think about it - your membership is not only helping you get access to some awesome content, but also giving a chance for someone else to benefit from it too. It's like, you're making a difference in two people's lives, essentially! 💕 And yeah, if cost is an issue, they've got a way out - just apply for the free membership, and voilà! 👍

🤩 sounds like a really cool thing for vox to do 🙌, I mean can't even imagine how good it would feel to help someone get into media/magazines/whatever that you love 📚, makes me wanna sign up ASAP 👉💰 hope they keep this up in the new year 💕

omg this is such a awesome idea 🤩 vox is literally spreading love and kindness everywhere, matching memberships with people in need is going to make so much of a difference! i mean think about it, someone can't afford membership but you can, that's amazing 💖 now they're giving them a chance too, and you get to feel good about it 🤗 this holiday campaign should be on everyone's wish list for sure, it's like the ultimate gift 🎁

🤔 I think this is super cool, but can we be real? Are they really expecting people to just give away their free membership perks to some random person in need? It sounds like a great feel-good gesture, but what about the financial implications? 🤑 I mean, Vox is still gonna have to pay for those free memberships somehow... But hey, if it means more people can get access to quality journalism, I'm all for it! Just hope they've thought through the logistics. 💸 Also, how are they gonna vet these people who need a free membership? That's some serious work right there 🕒

Just saw this news on my socials and I'm really moved by it 🤯. The idea that when someone joins as an annual member, Vox will match that purchase with a free membership for someone in need... it's just so cool 🎁. Like, if you're already getting value out of the platform, why not share that opportunity with others who might not be able to afford it? It's all about giving back and supporting each other 💖. I'm definitely considering signing up as a member this holiday season, especially since I know someone who could really use a boost 🤝.

🤝 This is so cool that Vox is doing this! I mean, I already love their content and all, but now there's an even better reason to join as a member... or rather, to gift one to someone who needs it. 🎁 It's amazing how something as simple as matching donations can make such a huge difference in people's lives. And it's not like you have to be super rich to contribute either, because if cost is an issue for you, they've got that covered too. You can just apply and get a free one activated! 💖 It just goes to show how awesome Vox is being and setting an example for other companies to follow.

OMG 🤩, this is literally the coolest thing ever! I mean, can you imagine being able to help someone else out just by joining a membership? It's like, the ultimate Christmas gift... for your community 😊. And think about all the people who might not be able to afford Vox right now, but with this program, they get a chance to join too! 💖 It's all about spreading the love and making high-quality journalism accessible to everyone 🌎. I'm totally jumping on this bandwagon... sign me up for an annual membership stat 🎉!

aww man this is so beautiful 🤗🎁 i love how vox is showing they care about people's struggles and want to help those in need. its amazing that they're offering a free membership to someone who can't afford one... thats just incredible ❤️. its all about spreading the love and supporting each other, you know? 🌈 so if ur thinking of getting an annual membership this holiday season, not only are u getting some awesome perks but also helping out someone in need 🤗

🤩 I'm all about this kind of generosity from media companies! It's amazing that Vox is putting their money where their mouth is and actively trying to make journalism more accessible to everyone. I mean, think about it - for every dollar you spend on a membership, you're essentially doubling the impact because you're helping someone else out. That's some seriously cool karma right there 😊. And it's not just about giving away free memberships, it's also about creating a community that values diversity and inclusivity. It's a great reminder that our actions can have a ripple effect and make a real difference in people's lives 🌎. I'm definitely considering joining Vox as an annual member this holiday season... who wouldn't want to support quality journalism while also spreading the love? 💖
