Billionaire Hedge Fund Manager Bill Ackman Donates $10,000 to GoFundMe for ICE Agent Who Killed Pregnant Mother of Three

One campaign raised over $1.5 million for Good's family, while another, created by an account linked to a Nazi salute image, has pulled in nearly half a million dollars for ICE agent Jonathan Ross.
Among the donors to Ross's GoFundMe was billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman, who shared a post about the fundraiser on Saturday and donated $10,000. Ackman confirmed that he made the donation in a Sunday post on X, saying he wanted to also donate to the fundraiser for Good but it was closed by the time he went to give.
Ackman has been an outspoken critic of what he alleged was antisemitism on American university campuses, often aligning with ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt on the issue. Ackman supported the ADL's defense of a Nazi salute made by Elon Musk; ADL called it an "awkward gesture".
The Trump administration has defended Ross's killing of Good as justified, while Minnesota state leaders call for an investigation. Video obtained by The Intercept shows events that contradict the administration's accounts of that morning.
A Facebook page for Clyde Emmons, who created Ross's GoFundMe campaign, was using a white supremacist imagery profile picture at the time. Other online accounts linked to the GoFundMe and bearing the same name posted hate symbols and called Good "a stupod bitch who got what she deserved."
GoFundMe is investigating the campaign and has stated that it will remove any campaigns that violate its terms of service, which prohibits fundraisers for the legal defense of violent crimes.

. Like, who donates to a GoFundMe for someone who killed an innocent woman? It's just so... wrong 
. And can we talk about how weird it is that the FBI is investigating one campaign and not the other? 
I mean, isn’t that kinda biased too? Anyway, I do think it’s kinda sad that Good’s family didn't get to raise as much money as they could've. But at the same time, $1.5 million is a lot of money 
. And Bill Ackman donating 10 grand might not seem like a lot to some people, but it's still something 
. I just wish GoFundMe would be more strict about their rules and not let hate groups use them as a platform for... whatever they’re doing

. I mean, come on! A pregnant mom of three gets shot by an ICE agent and suddenly we're supposed to be like, "Oh, let's raise some cash for the good guy who did this" 
? No way! There are two sides to every story here, and it sounds like the administration is covering up what really happened. And those GoFundMe campaigns... one raises a million bucks for the agent, while another collects half a mil from people who think Good was asking for it 
? It's just wrong. I wish Bill Ackman had donated to the other campaign instead

It's a sad day when we see people using platforms like GoFundMe to raise funds for someone who has committed such a heinous act. The fact that a $1.5 million fundraiser was created in support of Renee Nicole Good, while another campaign, linked to hate symbols, raised nearly half a million dollars, is absolutely appalling 
it's like they're celebrating hate and violence 
I mean, what's going on here is not just about a woman who was killed by an ICE agent, it's also about the people who are trying to justify or even celebrate that act of violence 
. And then there are the billionaires like Bill Ackman who are donating money to the wrong cause 
. We need to ask ourselves if we're doing enough to stand up against violence and hate, not just when it's convenient or popular
