Think about it, most of these are just fancy networking parties where people will probably just be talking about themselves and trying to get ahead in the industry... 
And what's with all the festivals? SXSW is already so crowded and overpriced, I'm surprised they still bother holding it every year. Plus, Coachella is like a never-ending Instagram feed for influencers... 
Not exactly the kind of vibe I'd want to be around, you know?

We just listened to the radio and caught up with our mates who were into the same tunes. Nowadays it's all about gettin' connected and networkin', and I'm not sure I fully get it 
. But hey, if Billboard's calendar is helpin' people stay informed, then more power to 'em! The fact that they're includin' festivals and conferences from all over the world is just awesome - it's like a big ol' music party
