he was like a superhero, capturing iconic pics of legendary artists like t-bone walker and john lee hooker 
and his book "boom boom" is still blowing minds today 
i mean, can u imagine having to sneak into exclusive events just to get behind-the-scenes shots? that's some next level stuff
