British public's verdict is in: Die Hard is not a Christmas movie

I mean, can you blame people for thinking Die Hard isn't a traditional Christmas flick? I get where they're coming from - it's all about the Yippee Ki Yi Ya moments, explosions, and Bruce Willis being his awesome self 😎. But at the same time, those action-packed scenes do kind of have that holiday feel to 'em 🎄. And let's be real, some of those iconic moments are just too closely tied to the Christmas season to ignore (who can forget Hans Gruber getting taken down in a festive Santa suit? 😂).

It's actually kinda cool to see Home Alone take the top spot as Britain's fave Christmas film - it's such a nostalgic and heartwarming story 🤗. And I love that 18% of respondents said going to the cinema on Christmas is a special tradition for them - there's something so magical about seeing movies with your family during the holiday season ✨.

But yeah, Macaulay Culkin did start some drama earlier this year, and it's awesome to see the UK public side with him 🙌. I mean, who needs a traditional Christmas movie when you can have Die Hard's brand of explosive fun? 💥

omg u gotta love die hard fans in uk lol they're still reppin their fav film even tho most ppl dont agree with them 44% or wut!! i think its so unfair that die hard isnt considered a christmas movie its like, the most iconic christmas action film eva! i remember watching it on christmas day as a kid and feeling all the festive vibes from yippee ki yi ya moments lol anyway, its cool that uk public has spoken out and im glad macaulay culkin said what he did bout home alone being overrated btw
