Britons living abroad: tell us your views on UK politics today

This Brexit situation is super confusing 🤯, and I can see how it would affect people living abroad. Like, if you're already out of touch with UK politics, why bother trying to understand the latest drama? It's like, they're creating this new party that's all about change, but what does that even mean for them?

I think the thing that's most surprising is how disconnected expats feel from their old lives. Like, they're not even sure if they can ever go back home 🤷‍♂️. It's like, their whole identity is tied up in this weird, uncertain future. And I get why, because who knows what the UK's politics will be like next year? 🤔

The Green Party and Liberal Democrats might actually have a point with their alternative views 🌿👍. Maybe we need some fresh ideas to shake things up. Who knows, maybe expats are onto something when they say that UK politics is all about division 🚫. We should be listening more than ever! 👂

🤔 I'm not surprised to see Nigel Farage's Reform party doing well in the polls, but 31% support is still a bit high for my taste 🙄. I think it's interesting that expats are feeling disconnected from UK politics, though - they do have a bird's eye view of things, don't they? 🌆

It's also true that traditional party politics might be on the way out, but that doesn't necessarily mean we'll see a better system in its place 🤷‍♂️. I worry about what this shift might mean for British democracy, and whether it'll lead to more fragmentation or genuine change.

As someone who's lived abroad for years, I can attest to feeling like an outsider even when I'm still technically a UK citizen 😅. It's weird to see the UK struggling with its own identity crisis - do we really need another Brexit-style mess? 🤦‍♂️

Still, it's worth listening to expats' perspectives on this - they might have some valuable insights that could help us navigate these uncharted waters 🌊. Maybe we'll even learn something about our own traditions and institutions 👀

man 84% believe britain is divided? thats crazy 🤯 i remember when harry styles was still a one direction member lol anyway, expats feeling disconnected from british politics makes sense, we see how things are going in the uk and it's like "wait what's happening?" 🤷‍♂️ the rise of reform party is interesting, maybe they'll bring some fresh ideas to british politics? or will it just be more of the same old drama 🙄
