'Bull riding is a drug': rodeo embraces its sports science era – in pictures

I'm loving this new approach to rodeo training 🤠💪! I mean, we all know how rough it can be on those riders out there, and it's crazy how many are forced into retirement so young. 20-30 is, like, way too early to hang up the spurs, you know? 😬 This new method makes total sense - gradual building of strength and endurance will definitely help prevent all those nasty injuries 🤕.

I'm excited to see if it really works out, but I gotta say, it's about time someone tried to mix things up in the rodeo world. The old way just seems so... brutal 🤺♀️. Champion's approach is all about making sure these young riders can enjoy their careers without suffering the consequences of a single bad fall 🌈. Fingers crossed this new method is the answer we've been waiting for! 👏

man I feel so bad for these rodeo riders they gotta deal with so much pain & risk every time they step into that arena... I think this new training method is a total game-changer if it can help 'em compete healthier for longer periods of time 🤞 it's crazy how most are forced to retire in their 20s or 30s from injuries, like what even is the point of competing if you're just gonna get hurt 😔

I'm not convinced this new training method will work out 🤔. I mean, what's the point of cutting corners if you're gonna take away from the real experience? These young riders need to learn how to handle themselves in the heat of the moment, not just some watered-down simulation 🏈. And what about the physical and mental toll of competing at a high level? It sounds like they're trying to create robots or something 💻. I've got friends who are rodeo enthusiasts and they're all worried about this new approach taking away from the essence of the sport 🤷‍♂️.

I gotta say, it's great to see someone like Champion working on this new training method 🤠💡. I mean, we've all seen those heart-wrenching stories about rodeo riders retiring way too early due to injuries 😔. It's just not fair to them or their families.

From what I understand, the new approach is more gradual and less punishing on the body 🏋️‍♀️. That's gotta be a big relief for young riders trying to make it in the sport. And who knows, maybe this will even help reduce some of those gruesome injuries we see in the rodeo world 💥.

It's all about finding that balance between training hard and taking care of yourself 🤝. If Champion's new method can do just that, then I think we've got something special on our hands 🎉. Let's hope it catches on and gives a younger generation of rodeo riders more time to shine 💫.
