California revokes 17,000 commercial driver’s licenses for immigrants

I think this is a total overkill 🙄. 17,000 licenses? That's crazy! It's not like these people are operating nuclear power plants or anything. They're just driving trucks to make a living. And for what? So the state can say they followed federal regulations? Come on... 🤷‍♂️

And what about all the drivers who have been doing this for years without any issues? Do they get to keep their licenses, or do they get yanked too? It's like California is playing some kind of game where you're only a good driver if you've got the right papers. 🚫 Newsflash: having a clean driving record and being able to follow the rules is way more important than having a certain visa status.

And have we even considered the impact on the economy? These drivers are just trying to make a living, and now they're being strung along because of some bureaucratic mess. It's not right 🤔.

omg, this is so not fair 🤕! I mean, 17k people are gonna lose their licenses? that's like, so many families and communities affected 😔. I get it, safety first and all, but isn't this just another example of the US being super strict on immigration issues? 🙄. I feel bad for those who got their licenses legit 🤷‍♀️. can't we just focus on getting people to safety on our roads instead of being so strict about immigration status? 🚗💨

this is just another example of how governments are getting more control over our lives 🙄... think about it, 17k licenses being revoked just because someone doesn't have the right paperwork... what's next? revoking people's driver's licenses if they can't prove their vaccination status or something 🤯... and for what purpose? to supposedly enhance safety... i've seen enough self-driving cars in the area and i'm like, "yeah right" 😒... this is just another step towards them taking control of our transportation system... what about private companies offering alternative services? will they be regulated too? 🤑

Man, this is a whole thing... they're revoking licenses from 17k drivers just 'cause of their immigration status 🤯? It's like, come on, governor's office is saying it's not about immigration, but Sean Duffy is all like "nope, you gotta play by the feds' rules" 🙄. And now 10k non-citizens are stuck with a pretty big fine if they can't renew their licenses? It's just so... bureaucratic. What's next? Revoking medical licenses or somethin'? 😩 It's gonna cause some huge problems for trucking companies and, you know, innocent people who just wanna drive to work 🚚💼.

I'm like, really concerned about this one... 🤔 17k commercial driver's licenses being revoked? It sounds super harsh to me. I get that public safety is important, but let's not forget that these people have been driving for years with valid work authorizations from the feds. It's just unfair to suddenly revoke their licenses without giving them a chance to figure out what's going on.

I think California should be looking at ways to make the process easier for these drivers instead of making it harder. Maybe they could set up some kind of program to help them get back on track? I mean, we're always talking about being more efficient and effective... why not put that efficiency into helping people who are already doing their jobs?

It's like, what even is the goal here? Is it just about enforcing regulations or is it really about keeping our roads safe? Let's focus on finding solutions rather than throwing a bunch of people out of a job. 🚗💼

Ugh, this is so not good 🚨. Can you believe they're revoking licenses from 17k immigrants? That's like, thousands of people who are trying to make a living on their own two feet. And it's not even because of immigration status, but because of some technicality with the laws... Like, what's next? Revoking licenses for all the people who can't afford lawyers to sort out their paperwork 🤑. This is just gonna lead to more problems down the line.
