CBS News heavily edits Trump 60 Minutes interview, cutting boast network 'paid me a lotta money'

😕 I'm still trying to wrap my head around this, man... Like, what's up with CBS News? They're basically just trying to cover their own backsides here. I mean, Trump is already a lightning rod for controversy, so you'd think they'd want to give the people as much information as possible. But nope, they edited out some serious stuff about the election and then claim it's all good because they released a transcript? 🤔 That just seems like a big PR stunt to me.

And can we talk about how weird it is that Trump is literally bragging about getting paid by CBS for changing his answer on election integrity? Like, who does that? It's not even subtle. And then he has the nerve to praise the new ownership team and say they're gonna bring positive change to journalism? Give me a break 🙄.

I'm all for holding people accountable, but this feels like more of a PR victory than actual journalism to me. I mean, what's next? Are we gonna see edited interviews from, like, 2010 or something? 😂

just thinking about this interview is making me wanna watch the whole thing, you know? 16 million dollars is crazy... i mean, it's not like they're paying him to say what he wants or anything, but still... editting out parts that are super controversial? it's all about time and ratings, right? 🤔 i'm kinda curious to see how much of the original sit-down was actually left in for the full transcript. maybe it'll give us a better understanding of what trump really thinks about election integrity 🗳️

Man, this interview is like a whole different story 🤯! I'm all about transparency and honesty in media, you know? And it sounds like CBS News was trying to fit the conversation into their 90-minute time frame, which led to some major omissions 🕰️. Trump's comments on election integrity were definitely concerning, and it's wild that they edited those parts out 💥.

I'm glad they released a full transcript now, though - it's like getting two sides of the story, you know? 👀 It's also interesting to see how CBS handled this situation, settling with Trump for $16m without admitting anything wrong 🤑. As someone who cares about journalism and fact-checking, I think this is a big deal 😬.

Anyway, I'm curious to know what people are thinking - do you guys think the editing was justified or was it a major cop-out? 💭 Let's chat in the comments! 👇
