I don't think $12.5 millones is enough for a project like this 🤑. I mean, what if they need more funding to make sure the facilities are top-notch? What about maintenance costs? It's always easier to underestimate expenses when you're excited about a new project 😬. That being said, it's awesome that Breakaway has finally found a place to call home after all those failed attempts 🤞. Their mission to provide affordable training programs for young athletes is truly commendable 💪.

I gotta say, this is a game changer for the community 🤩. A place where young athletes can get proper training and mentorship without breaking the bank sounds like a dream come true 💸. I'm loving the fact that they're not just stopping at sports training, but also offering spaces to learn about sports journalism, photography, and refereeing - it's all about well-rounded development 📚.

And I gotta give props to Khalilah Johnson for being honest about the benefits of sports - "the sport can lead to a free education" - ain't nobody gonna argue with that 💪. The fact that they're reusing an old school building and turning it into something new is genius, too 🌈.

I'm not surprised it took a while to find the right spot, but I'm stoked that Breakaway Community Development has finally found their footing 🤞. They're doing some amazing work here, and I'm excited to see what the future holds for this project!

OMG what a relief 😌 they finally found a place for their program 🙌 Breakaway Community Development has been searching for ages and it's awesome to see them getting their act together 💪. It's amazing that the board of education in Chicago approved the sale of the property without any issues, hope this new center brings change to the community 👍. I'm all about empowering young athletes with skills beyond just basketball 🏀. Mental health services are so important too, let's get those kids feeling whole and happy 🤝

🏀💪 This is amazing news! It's been too long since we've seen an organization like Breakaway Community Development make a real difference in the lives of young athletes. I mean, who wouldn't want access to affordable training programs and mental health services? The fact that they're not only building a state-of-the-art athletic center but also a community space with resources for kids to develop skills outside of sports is just incredible 🤩. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this project gets done on time and makes a real impact on the lives of these young people! 💕

🤔 I'm so hyped for Breakaway Community Development to finally find a new home for their affordable training programs! $12.5 million is a decent budget, and it's awesome that they're reusing an old school building to create a state-of-the-art athletic center 🏢. Offering spaces for kids to learn skills like sports commentary, photography, and refereeing is genius - I'm sure those young athletes will appreciate the extra opportunities 💼.

And I love how they're prioritizing mental health services alongside athletics - it's clear that Breakaway is committed to helping these young athletes grow into whole individuals 🤝. With After the Game's support, this partnership is gonna make a real difference in Chicago!

It's amazing to see an organization like theirs, focused on helping underprivileged youth in Austin, get the support they need to succeed through sports. The fact that they've got a budget of $12.5 million and some awesome local athletic orgs behind them makes this project a lot more promising 🤞. And who knows, maybe this is just what those kids need - a safe space to learn new skills, get healthy, and feel like they're part of something bigger than themselves 💕. I'm kinda stoked that Breakaway Community Development has finally found a new home for their programs 🤩. It's awesome that they're giving young athletes from Austin a chance to develop their skills and reach their full potential through sports. The fact that the Junta de Educación de Chicago is on board with this project is huge, too. 💯

But, I gotta say, $12.5 million is a pretty penny 🤑. Are you sure it's feasible for them to complete the project within 18-24 months? That's a tight timeline, and there are always going to be unexpected setbacks. Fingers crossed that they can make it happen, though! 🤞

🏀💪 I'm so stoked to hear that Breakaway Community Development has finally found a new home for their affordable youth sports programs! It's been a long and tough road, but they're determined to provide opportunities for young athletes from Austin's neighborhoods to succeed through sports.

The fact that the Chicago Board of Education voted unanimously to sell the property to Breakaway is a huge win. And with the support of local athletic organizations like After the Game, which focuses on promoting kids' physical and mental well-being, this project has all the makings of something special.

I love how Breakaway's mission is centered around providing accessible opportunities for all young people, regardless of their budget. It's not just about sports; it's about helping these kids develop into whole individuals with skills and confidence that will serve them for life.

The plan to reurpose the old school building into a state-of-the-art athletic center with facilities for multiple sports, as well as mental health services and educational programs, is genius. And by repurposing another abandoned property as affordable housing and community space, Breakaway is showing us that there's no shortage of potential for positive change in our communities.
