ummm so like corporations are super vocal about gun control stuff and stuff but only when it's convenient for them i mean have you noticed how quiet they get after a mass shooting? like what even is the point of having all those billions if we can't use them to advocate for real change?

i guess its kinda true that corporations are like our proxy voice on social issues but isnt it weird that they only speak up when it's gonna look good in the PR department? and yeah, ceos are tired of carrying the load all by themselves lol who am i right?

anyway, it makes sense that they wanna build a coalition behind their causes tho like, maybe if more people got involved and started making some noise, we'd actually see some real change

Can't believe all these big corporations just up and vanish on gun control now like they're too busy raking it in to care about the little people. It's all about saving face when it comes down to it, folks... don't want to be seen as "just" a corporation, gotta be a "force for good"... save the hashtag emojis for someone who actually cares

I feel like corporations have been playing both sides here... they wanna be seen as socially responsible but at the same time don't wanna rock the boat . They've got their PR teams spinning and making sure everything looks good on paper, but deep down they're worried about losing that $$ . Meanwhile, lawmakers are left holding the bag, trying to make changes without the big businesses' support . It's all about playing it safe, you know?

I'm totally with Jeff on this one ... corporations have taken the lead on social issues and now it's time for everyone else to step up too ! I mean, we all know big business has been vocal about gun control before, but after a mass shooting like that, you'd think they'd be leading the charge again . But instead, they're just sitting tight ... I get that CEOs are tired of being the sole ones to take on tough issues, but it's not like they're above it all . We need a broader coalition behind gun control and other social causes, not just corporate America . It's time for us as individuals and communities to make our voices heard too !
