I'm still trying to process how Bristol managed to snatch that win from the jaws of defeat . 10 metres out from their own line and they were moving the ball like it was nobodies business! Meanwhile, Scarlets are left wondering what could've been . I mean, you gotta give credit to Rees-Zammit though, he's a talented player and his try was the difference maker. But at the same time, Scarlets need to work on their composure under pressure because they were just so sloppy .
I love how Pat Lam is always talking about his team's fight and resilience, it's so inspiring for parents like me who are trying to teach our kids the importance of perseverance . And let's be real, Bristol got lucky with that yellow card on Mata - if he hadn't gotten that card, who knows what would've happened?
omg, that try by Rees-Zammit ! scarlets are totes gutted rn . i think they should've capitalized on those missed chances tho... 10 metres out from their own line and they still managed to mess it up . anyway, bristol did well to hold on and pat lam's post-match praise is definitely deserved . as for scarlets, gotta keep calm and regroup for the next match . that game against pau on sunday is gonna be EPIC !
lol what a match lol scarlet's are gonna be so frustrated after that game they really had it in the bag but just fell short Rees-Zammit's try was insane though he's such a speed demon Mata should've kept his cool on that yellow card tho, didn't want to give bristol all that extra time anyway, scarlets gotta bounce back and get those wins under their belt hope they can take on pau without getting destroyed
omg yall, scarlets got robbed i mean, they had so many chances to win that match but just couldn't capitalize on 'em. dwayne peel's gotta be thinking "what if" right now and bristol bears kinda lucked into it too, with mata gettin all yellow-card-y . anyways, both teams looked fierce out there, esp scarlets, who were totally dominating at times , but just couldn't close the deal. bordeaux begles are gonna be the ones to watch next week tho... their title defense is on
Man I'm loving the atmosphere at the Champions Cup matches this season ! The Bristol Bears vs Scarlets match was insane, I couldn't believe they managed to hold off those Welsh guys till the end . Rees-Zammit's try at the end was pure magic . But gotta feel for the Scarlets, they had some golden chances and just didn't capitalize . Mata's high tackle on Ryan Elias was pretty harsh though . Bristol's win is a great confidence booster for them heading into their next match against Pau in France . The Scarlets are gonna have to regroup and come back stronger next time out !
