Chaos erupts outside Minnesota hotel suspected of housing ICE agents, 26 arrested

omg i was literally right outside that hotel yesterday 🤯 and i saw like 5 people being dragged away by cops it was crazy 😱 i was trying not to get involved but one of my friends who's super into activism said they were gonna join the protest anyway and i'm just like what are you doing?!😂 anyway it looks like the police came in too hard and that's never a good look for law enforcement 🤦‍♀️ some ppl r saying it was all justified tho like the protesters were being really aggressive or whatever 🙄 idk i feel bad for whoever got caught up in it 💔

I'm seeing some disturbing footage from Minneapolis today and it's hard not to wonder if the situation escalated too quickly 🤯. The fact that 26 people were arrested in what was initially described as a peaceful protest raises concerns about police tactics and crowd management. It seems like the authorities prioritized maintaining order over understanding the underlying issues with ICE's presence at the hotel. I'm still trying to process how things went from a calm demonstration to a chaotic situation, where some protesters claimed they were caught off guard by the police action 😕. This incident highlights the need for improved communication and de-escalation strategies between law enforcement and communities who may be passionate about social justice causes 💡.

🤬 I'm so sick of these hotels being used as battlegrounds for politics 🚫. Can't we just protest in peace? 🙄 The fact that 26 people got arrested without warning is straight up concerning 👮‍♂️. I mean, what's next? Sending in the military to break up a peaceful protest? 😱 That's not how you build trust with your community, fam 💔. And can we talk about how these police actions are being framed as "restoring order" when really it sounds like they're just silencing dissenting voices 🗣️. Not cool, not cool at all 😒.

I'm so worried about what's happening with these protests and arrests... 🤕 It seems like things escalated quickly, but I think the police could've handled it differently too. I mean, if people are saying their rights were taken away without warning, that's super scary. Can't they just let people leave peacefully instead of arresting them? 😬 The fact that 26 people got arrested feels really extreme to me... was there really that much trouble? 🤔

😕 this is so disheartening... i remember when our activism was about peaceful protesting & having a say in the system. now it feels like we're being silenced & arrested just for showing up. 26 people gettin' taken away from their homes without warnin'? that's not order, that's intimidation. i'm all for keepin' people safe, but at what cost? our rights are gettin' trampled & i'm worried about where this is headed 🤕

🚨 ICE hotel protest was totally not peaceful anymore 🤯 26 people arrested, but I guess "no longer considered peaceful" means whatever you want it to mean now 😒. Policing is super tricky, but when they swoop in without warning, it's hard not to feel like a total ambush 💥.
