Cholera is spreading fast, yet it can be stopped. Why haven't we consigned it to history? | Hakainde Hichilema and Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus

🤕 u know i read that article about cholera and its just mind blowin how something so preventable can still be killin people left & right. i think the problem ain't the vaccine or nothin, it's the fact that ppl in power are too busy fightin over resources to actually do somethin about it. we need 2 invest in safe water & sanitation infrastructure ASAP or else cholera's gonna keep on spreadin like wildfire 🌪️

Ugh, cholera is still a big problem 😩. I mean, come on, it's preventable with safe water and sanitation, but governments just aren't prioritizing it enough 🙄. We need to invest in infrastructure, not just rely on vaccines that can only do so much 🤯. It's not just about the tech or medicine, it's about addressing poverty and inequality, which is what's causing all these outbreaks 🌎. We need world leaders to step up and take action, not just throw money at a problem 🤑. And those new partnerships are a good start, but we need more 💪. It's time to stop making cholera a "definitive disease of deprivation" and start solving it once and for all 🔓!

🤔 I think it's crazy that we're still struggling with cholera after all the progress we've made in medicine. It's like, we know how to cure this thing, but we need to make sure people have access to clean water and sanitation first 🚽💧. It's not just about throwing more vaccines at the problem, we need to fix the underlying issues that are causing poverty and inequality in the first place. And it's not like this is a new problem, cholera has been around for centuries, so I'm surprised we're still not further along in solving it 🤯. We need more investment in safe drinking water and sanitation infrastructure, period. It's time for world leaders to step up and prioritize the health of their people over politics 💪.

OMG u no how many ppl r dyin cuz o cholera rn it's like 6800+ & it's still spreadin across 32 countries 🤯😱 i feel so bad for all those ppl affected by poverty & inequality. vaccines r available but not enough ppl r gettin 'em bcs of lack o funding 4 safe water & sanitation infrastructure is literally the key 2 preventin outbreaks but its not just abt throwin money at it its about changin th way we address poverty inequality conflict & displacement like what's up wit all these new partnerships but ur right govts need 2 step up their game & invest in real solutions 🤝💸

Ugh, I'm getting so frustrated with all this 🤯! Cholera is literally one of the most preventable diseases out there, but we keep going back to the same old excuses about lack of resources and funding. Can't we just invest in some basic infrastructure for safe water and sanitation already? 🚽 It's not rocket science, folks! We need to stop making cholera a "definitive disease of deprivation" and start treating it like the preventable crisis that it is.

I mean, come on, we've got 49 million doses of vaccine distributed so far this year... what are they doing with those vaccines, hmm? 🤔 Not enough people have access to them, that's for sure. And don't even get me started on the shortage of production and supply... it's just a big mess.

We need new partnerships and investments to make real progress here, not just more handouts to companies like Jijia Medical Technology Company. It's time for governments to step up and prioritize the people who really matter – the ones living in poverty and without access to basic human rights like clean water and sanitation. 🤝
